NC - Fayetteville, Female, Native American, unknown remains left at crematory

I was browsing namus and found this very strange case. On 06-20-2025 remains were found at a crematory without any documentation and no one knew anything about the remains being left there. It also says the remains were left between 05-15-2025 and 05-19-2025, which doesnt make sense with the date body found being the 06-20-2025. listed as female-native american and very little other information.

Warning, there is a couple post mortem pictures in namus, to me not extremely graphic.

The second one is possible. I think the 17 year old is really too young. Namus for the uid says 60 inches measured, and 150lbs measured. I won't say I'm an expert at guessing relative ages, but she looks to me to be at least over 40, and has some graying hair. I'm wondering if a funeral home was negligent and dropped the body there. If so maybei need to be looking at obituaries from close to the area and dates when she was left at the crematory

Oh I see! I did not want to look at the post-mortem photos, so from what you said, the uid is an older female. Good idea re. looking at obits.

I'm not convinced this Doe is even a missing person, TBH.
