I looked up Carhartt and New Balance. Turns out they're both 100+ year old companies, so that's not much help. According to Wikipedia, Carhartt launched a line of women's clothing in 2007, but it would just be speculation that, like the shoes, the jeans were women's.

Also, looking back at this UID, I found a new WSJ article that references these remains as skeletal, and also that the remains were specifically found "along the 800 block of Buxton Street near [Winston-Salem's] downtown" by a walking individual. Ref: WSJ Link

I would like to submit Rhonda Lee Easter [WS Link] (NamUs #MP90468) as a potential match. I have been wanting to do this for a while, but I feel like certain attributes of Rhonda would certainly help with identification early on, but I feel like I should mention it - so I went ahead and submitted to the Regional Program Coordinator in the area.

Similarities:
- Rhonda is a white/caucasian female went missing at 59 years old after signing out of an assisted living facility in Greensboro, NC (33 miles away from UID location).
- Rhonda's height is listed as 5' 4" on NamUs page.
- Rhonda's last date of contact is January 11, 2022 (10 months before UID found).

The certain attributes in question are that Rhonda has three missing toes on her right foot and also a scar on her upper-left arm. The WSJ article referenced in my last post seem to show these remains as skeletal. I feel like these attributes would make the match more identifiable if it was her, but I could be wrong.
