Gloria’s case was modified on 09/27/2022. It looks like they found her birth date but it’s not publicly viewable. I’m hoping to find a photo of her soon

"The child came to the beach with an uncle and relatives while her parents remained in Fayetteville"

"the child's 16 year old stepsister, who had been watching her, apparently fell asleep on the beach about 2:30pm, and Gloria was gone when she awoke."

"They had seen Gloria at the Ocean Crest Pier and Long Beach Pier."

Gloria's father's name is Lloyd Smith, her mothers name is Terry Smith, and they owned Terry's Diner (presumably in Fayetteville). It seems she was adopted from Korea.

"Gloria...disappeared on a clam hunting expedition."

"Because Gloria couldn't swim, family members at first feared she had drowned"

"She was last seen in the water about shoulder deep in a fairly unsupervised area. There's a good chance [with the currents of the area] her body may have been carried out to sea"

Gloria is my cousin. Her father passed away in September. Not having any kind of closure always haunted him.
This summer marks 22 years since Gloria disappeared.

She is not listed in NamUs.
