Grace is described as a white girl, 5-foot 3-inches tall, weighing 120 pounds with brown hair and green eyes, last seen wearing a gray pullover turtle neck sweater with buttons on the collar and black tight pants.

Graces was heading north on Walnut Street from Warren Avenue in Cary and believe a possible destination is the Mobile Estates subdivision at 400 York Street in Cary.

"Silver Alert issued for missing NC teen" - Silver Alert? for a 14 year old?

And my apologies in advance: It is any person's right to describe Miss Grace as "white". It's all good with me.
But I do think that for the purposes of helping people search for her - and not ignoring her if they are only looking for a "white girl" - it might be beneficial to add something about her appearance.
I'm not sure how I would word it. I'd find a good publicist to work with the family on that. But perhaps it could include, ".. who also might first appear to be mixed."
When searching for a finding a missing child, all descriptors are important. I don't think "white girl" is a great descriptor of this child.
