Beaufort County Sheriff's Office searching for missing teen

Hailey Lydell Cherry, 17, was last seen at her home on Cherry Run Road, in Washington, around 10 p.m. last Saturday night, June 9.

Cherry is described as being five feet, seven inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

It is not known what she was wearing when she was last seen, or what mode of transportation she used when she left her home last Saturday night.

Missing Beaufort County teen found in Greenville, now in jail cell

Deputies say when the 17-year-old ran away she was under house arrest with electronic monitoring after being charged in February with a crime spree in the Washington area.

She and five others were charged with a string of break-ins. Cherry was arrested on seven breaking and entering counts, seven larceny after breaking and entering, four larceny of a firearm, and obtaining property by false pretense.

After she was found in Greenville, deputies added the additional charge of interfering with an electronic monitoring device.
