Honest question: What does sex trafficking have to do with a military base?
Unfortunately due to the amount of people coming in and out often, people prey on the area and take advantage of people not knowing what's going on.

Also, there is a huge demand for prostitution due to the amount of soldiers in the area. Fort Bragg is the largest military installation. The area is known to take advantage of it's community members and sex crimes is not exempt from that.

There are certain areas that service members are not allowed to visit after a certain hour due to the area's reputation. I won't go into walmart alone.

Active searches continue for abducted Lumberton teen Hania Aguilar

Is Hania driving in this photo or starting car?

Is this the same SUV she was kidnapped in?

Am I the only one who hasn't already seen this photo? ( I have been consumed by my job and maybe missed some stuff but I've tried to stay caught up).

Who took this photo? Selfie?

Where was this photo taken? (Notice the fence in back ground.)

I think she is sitting in the passenger side and the image is reversed because it is a selfie. Selfies are mirror images.

I always get confused by the mirror image thing!

I have selfies of me driving and they look exactly like this image with seatbelt on same side etc!

Wow. Sorry I asked. I'm anxious to share this info with my husband who served 21 years in the USMC.

I couldn’t sleep last night trying to remember the “sleep away” Methodist camp I attended as a kid. Today I remembered it was Canp Don Lee near Arapahoe.
Are there any camps like that in Robeson County that someone could be hiding in? I think I may have gone to another Methodist canp near Fayetteville as a kid.

Trying to figure out where walking man came from.

It looks like, per google, the Wal-mart in Lumberton is 24 hours. Looks like a person could leave there and cut through Lambeth towards the trailer park.

Always a good idea to check Wal-Mart video (from cases I have followed).

IMO

It may depend on your phone? Or your settings? I'm not sure.

My husband is enlisted right now and he was the first to tell me to be careful. He has only been stationed here but there are many articles about military areas and drug/human trafficking.

Cumberland county accounts more than half the human trafficking cases in North Carolina. It is sad. The most recent that I can remember was a bust in September with two young females. While Lumberton is in Robeson county, they are extremely close.

Good question, there are a few camps around that area I’ve heard of. Possibly, when the camps are out of season, there could be trespassers. Would be hard to keep them out of a camp area.

“Federal Investigators are taking to social media to denounce internet trolls.”

Good!

—-

“”Every time a mother or a family member talks on TV about something like this, the bad side of social media comes out again,” an FBI spokeswoman said regarding the treatment Elsa Hernandez, the mother of missing teen Hania Aguilar, is getting. And that is stressful for her — for people to pick apart how she looks and her reaction. It’s heartbreaking.”“

Stop Criticizing Family And Spreading Rumors About Kidnapped 13-Year-Old, FBI Says
Great. It would be nice for internet trolls to know that their rumors are harmful - not innocent entertainment for themselves.

Regarding the photos of Hania. I think kids probably just having a good time taking pics on a warm day. I'm not thinking a perp saw these pics posted online like FB or instagram etc. However...I'm thinking possibly a predator who hangs around with a friend at the mobile home park was maybe "watching" while the pics were "actually" being taken. I think the same thing. Or, maybe her family wanted some updated photos of her. Who knows the reason - the photos seem normal and sweet to me. I recall doing a "photo shoot" with my friend at that same age. We posed in what we thought were fashion-magazine poses just for the fun of it - there was no particular occasion or reason. (Back in the day when we had to bring film to the developer.)

Heck...I use to do the same thing in my 30's when I was having a good hair day. Lol. Now at age 50...I hate to be in pictures.

RBBM. There is no evidence at all that she was communicating online with her abductor or anyone involved in this. Please do not state speculation as if it is a fact. If that turns out to be the case, then I agree with the rest of your post-- it is not her fault, no matter what she may have done online (I have advocated for "runaways" who were trafficked victims as well, so I get what you are saying). But since there is no evidence of this occurring, why even go there as a theory? There are very not victim friendly places online where Hania is being smeared by this lie that she had something to do with her abduction. I usually don't pay attention to social media gossip but it is so bad in this case that the FBI has addressed it directly in a tweet and in press conference statements. The last thing we need here is to confuse speculation with the facts of the case. That's all I'm saying. JMO.

I wasn't saying she did, I am only stating that IF SHE DID...... I was not stating speculation as fact. I work with victims too, everyday. I would never blame a child for any reason EVER when they predators hurt them or kidnap them. Hope Hania is found soon and her mom can find some peace.

Here is another example of doings in Lumberton, NC -- it happened on my mother's property. I thought about it last night.

My uncle (mom's brother) came to visit a couple of days with my mom just to spend a little time with her, and he had a bit of business to do in Lumberton. This was about 15 years ago. He was from a teeny little town in Robeson County named Lumber Bridge (pop. 94 -- yes, ninety-four).
He parked his well-cared-for 3-year-old utility truck behind my mom's car which was in the carport -- so the truck was sitting in the driveway of her house. It was (is still) a nice neighborhood with upper-middle-class homes; big lots with well-kept landscaping, etc., etc.
When my Uncle Tommy went outside the morning after he arrived at her house, his prized truck was GONE. He had not been at that location even 24 hours. He called LE, they came, took a report which would go on an automobile theft alert, and said that a lot of trucks were disappearing from Lumberton homes. Of course, Tommy never saw his truck again.
There ya go.
