Thanks so much for the Google map and locations.
Is this the body they discovered last Friday?
No. Actually that body was located in Wisconsin and there has been discussion over whether it could possibly be Jayme Closs. The timing is just an ironic coincidence I'd say with both of these missing young girls. Anyway that body has not been identified (to my knowledge) and seems unlikely that it will turn out to be Jayme.

I tried to quote you 3rdEyeGypsy but it wouldn't let me. Your distance tells me this was about her and not the car at all. What would he have needed the car for 8 miles and then put her further down the road. Who knows if he put her there first and back tracked. Either way, this was not for a ride/car it was for her. IMO

  • approx 5.5 miles, 8 minutes from where the SUV was and from the mobile home park to the body was 14.4 miles

Makes me think perp is local and knows the area well. Also makes me think this all happened very quickly. I hope the lead they got was from a video and they know which car perp travelled to this location in. :(

There's a reporter with WTVD that has posted a video of locals on fb - her name is Akilah Davis. Residents smelled a strong odor about a week and half ago...

I’m trying to pull up a google maps view of the intersection where they have blocked the road. But I heard from one of the live news reports that there is a pond out there that is being searched.

I hope that this is not Hania - I will never understand how someone can just dump a body somewhere.

While we can be optimistic, the FBI searched this area a second time based on a tip, because they were looking for evidence related to Hania.

Why was the SUV dumped on Quincey Drive? It makes sense to drive away from Lumberton to the west, where there are less houses and more places to discretely dump a vehicle. This would be logical if you could get a ride back.

If you couldn’t get a ride, you might drive towards where you live in a panic, and quickly dump the SUV wherever you can. Based on location of the body near Fire Tower Road and Wine Glass Road, you would drive over route 74 on Kingsdale Road. The route from Fire Tower Road to Quincey Drive is shown on map. There aren’t many places on this route that I see where you could dump a vehicle.

Why would you pick a small bushy lot next to a house? Makes very little sense. Image of SUV location in other image. Unless you are close to your destination and looking for the nearest dump spot with a little degree of cover. I think the perp lives close by, likely within a mile.

Grim news.

Why didn’t she report it?

Just sickened.

In the interview, she said they thought it was just a dead animal and they are used to that. Sigh

The woman said they took footage from her, so she knew it “could have been a missing person” right?
Deer camera Footage? Or door bell footage? From last week between 6am and 12 noon.
Also can we see the abandoned house on Google maps?

Local reporter is saying that this area has been searched before. Apparently, the FBI received a tip that lead them back to search this area again today.

Hopefully that means LE has a suspect in mind or at least has more information from the tipster who caused them to search the area again.

Was just getting ready to post that.

I just returned from worked and checked in here. Waiting with bated breath....praying for Hanna and her family.

She said she turned it over without looking at it because LE asked for it. Very curious about it.

Those asking why she didn't report the odor, maybe she did but doesn't want it to be public, jmo.
