Please remember when you post about a registered sex offender the police have already looked into this person.

Please remember your theories have to be reasonable. By that I mean we shouldn't have to suspend reality to believe the theory.

Use common sense. Stop with the rumors. Registered Sex Offenders are being looked at by police. Do not start dragging over every RSO who might have committed a crime like this. It just mucks up the thread and it is not necessary because the police have this information.

Do not accuse anyone of a crime unless they are the official person of interest.

Thank you.
Tricia

Body found at 4:45 pm
Sunset 5:06 today.

Had to get LE and CS techs and possibly lights to area. Probably not many street lights there.
Takes time to process a scene.

JMO

I've driven by accident scenes that were still being processed 5 hours later.

Body found in Robeson County while FBI was following leads in search for Hania Aguilar
"We don't know for sure if it's Hania," the missing teen's aunt, Emy Moscoso, told ABC11 on Tuesday night. "We hope it's not her, and that she's still alive."

Robeson County Schools Superintendent Dr. Shanita Wooten said on social media that she and Lumberton Junior High School Principal Dr. SaVon Maultsby "received word of the potentially tragic conclusion to the search by Sergeant Pete Locklear of the Lumberton Police Department. Upon receiving full confirmation, the district will provide increased support staff that will be made available for all students and staff at Lumberton Junior High School. This is an unfortunate end to an extensive search and we are committed to supporting all students and staff as they cope with the heartbreaking tragedy.

"On behalf of PSRC district leaders, administrators, staff and students, we extend our sincerest condolences to Hania's family, friends, and community. This is a difficult time for our entire district and we are mourning this loss and are still processing this terrible tragedy. We are keeping Hania in our thoughts and will continue to pray for her family and each other as the investigation continues."

Does anyone find it strange that he walked there? He would not have known that she was in her aunt's car. Was he just walking past and saw her and took the opportunity?

Lumberton Police Department | 11/23/2018 10:39am (EST)

Agents and investigators have canvassed a number of areas of interest in Robeson County. We have visited some homes and businesses several times to try and make personal contact with people to obtain their surveillance video in an effort to narrow down exactly when and how the stolen SUV got from Rosewood Mobile Home Park to where it was found on Quincey Drive. We need any video from Robeson County, specifically along Highway 41/Elizabethtown Road and any side streets, especially along Popes Crossing Road, Wire Grass Road, and Lovett Road. Officials are requesting surveillance videos from anywhere in the county, but specifically along Highway 41/Elizabethtown Road and any side streets, especially along Popes Crossing Road, Wire Grass Road, and Lovett Road.

The agency said in a statement last week that they needed "every piece of video," including surveillance video from deer hunters or from households along that route.

Agents are now attempting to narrow down the details of how the SUV was taken from Rosewood Mobile Home Park, Aguilar's neighborhood, to Quincey Drive.

Law enforcement officials have followed over 800 leads and conducted over 400 in person interviews in an attempt to find her.

Yes, it was one of the areas they asked for footage. :(

They received video footage from there a week ago. The person who turned over the footage is interviewed here. They said they smelled something, there's an abandoned home, a well that sits in the middle of a field...

We don't actually know that he's the one who took her, but if so, it does seem like it was opportunistic. MOO
