I'm just looking at the map for the first time: Google Maps

The good thing about this location seems to be that no matter which direction he turned, there are multiple businesses along the main road that might have had cameras. Hopefully they can track down which way they went, but days later and no new sightings of Hania nor the car is very concerning. :(

I wonder if the perp attended the vigil.

Hi all! I’m local...I drove by the mobile home park on my way to the grocery store about an hour ago. Lots of police around the area. It looks like they are stopping anyone going in or leaving the park.

Unfortunately the businesses along there probably don’t have cameras. It was reported that the SUV turned left onto Elizabethtown Rd/rt. 41. If that’s the case there is a small shopping center and then miles of rural roads with no businesses.

We are asking home and business owners with surveillance camera systems to call our tip line at 910-272-5871. Your footage could be important to our investigation even if it did not capture an image of the SUV.

That second picture they released is very scary to me. Notice its parked off the road near some wooded area.

I have a bad feeling about what he may have been doing with her at the time this second photo was captured.

This is JMO but I think this second photo was taken quite a bit later after she was taken. The wording is the same wording they used when they released the first picture of the car so that tells me they both could not have been taken immediately following her being taken. I suspect one of them had to have been quite a bit later and they didnt change the description of the timing of the second photo.

ETA I know its hard to tell if the second picture is off the road but what makes me believe that is when you zoom in on it then it appears to be leaning off to the side on the far side because you can see darkness on the undercarriage. Also if you look at the road pavement then the vehicle does not seem to be lined up well to the pavement. It seems to me that it could be pulled off the side of the road and stopped.

Also there is no lights on the taillights and in the other photo we saw the car had the lights on.

I looked into bandana’s as far as gang relation goes, but could not find any gang that wears just yellow ones, specifically. One gang wears black & yellow, but from the description of the perp, the only color seen was yellow.
However, it is still a possibility (of this being gang related) because I can not find anything on the local level, only widely-known groups.

MOO

The second picture is scary. It looks to me like it’s driving by and not parked though. Hard to tell.

Thanks for the local knowledge ClaireNC! I was thinking that the KIA dealer or some of the other car dealers there might have cameras facing the street. Those photos they released are so blurry it makes my think they were taken from far away and enlarged. JMO.

I thought the second picture was blurry because the truck was moving :( I hate to think it was pulled over. Although if it was stopped, there will be more video.

yeah its really hard to tell for sure. I added an ETA why i think it is pulled off the road. I hope I am wrong about that.

There is police there tonight? Have they been there since the abduction or is something specific going on tonight? (I ask with hope...)

I see what you mean about the alignment. It certainly could be parked.

If it was stopped, perhaps LE would search that area? MOO

He could have been driving fast and swerving off the road a bit as he tried to keep Hania in the car and under his control. I think this was video from very near the Mobile Home Park, possibly on the road out of there. JMO.

ETA: Also, there are speedbumps on the entrance road to the mobile home park. He might have driven on the grass to avoid the speedbumps.

Ugh if she doesn't know her abductor. That would lead me to believe it was a stalker/sexual predator situation which very rarely ends well for a teenage female victim. :( My hope at this point is that whoever did this wanted to have or possess Hania which would increase the chances she is alive. Really was hoping it was a familial situation for her personal safety since we've passed the 48 hour threshold now.

It would seem that this was

Reviewing the landscape, this maybe almost the same angle of the same area with different cameras. It appears the vehicle approached and intersection and made a left. A google street view might reveal the location and direction. I wish I had time to do the research.

Been trying to catch up on this thread. (I’ve been following Jayme Closs’ thread... it’s fast moving too... and check in withthe other page of cases I follow). But just want to weigh in on Hania’s abduction. To me it seems logical that the perp here had come to the mobile home park purposely to take Hania. I think he’s been watching, waiting for the opportunity. The car taken isn’t really one that would be worth stealing I don’t think. At this time of year there would LE be able to find a spot he might of hidden and watched her home, like a spot on the edge of woods nearby where vegetation is disturbed? In the Golden State Kille case LE often found a spot like that nearby to his victims. It’s very sad to think we’ve two young girls, Hania and Jayme, who’ve been taken and to imagine what they’ve most likely gone through.

It looks like both the front and rear tires are off the road and aligned with the road -- not like it was swerving IMO.

I see what you mean. I really hope not though! I think LE will be searching out there if it was stopped.
