This was the 2 year old neice of my oldest daughter's friend. Such a precious baby girl taken way too soon. She was brain dead when she was life flighted to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. The mother has been arrested for child neglect and boyfriend was charged with murder today.

Oh, how tragic. A little 2 year old girl -- she was probably starting to really notice things and to ask, "What's that?" about everything.
Another little angel is gone where there are already too many.
But she is away from fear and hurt now and forever.

I am so sorry that you and especially your daughter have to be near such a sad and cruel thing.
Just dammit.

Just awful. I’m so sorry for the tragic and preventable loss of another angel baby.
