Silver Alert issued for missing Wilson woman | WNCT

The Wilson Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing, endangered woman.

• 27-year-old Jahtyra Thomas was last seen at 403 Mt. Vernon drive in Wilson.
• She is a black woman, with short brown hair and brown eyes.
• She stands 5’4” tall and weighs approximately 190 lbs.
• She was last seen wearing a white short-sleeve polo shirt, tan shorts, and blue loafer shoes with white bottoms.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Thomas is asked to call the Wilson Police Department at 252-399-2323.

• Ms. Thomas is a resident of a group home located in Wilson NC.
• She left the home sometime last night (3/27) or early this morning (3/28) before breakfast.
• She did not inform anyone that she was leaving or where she may be going.
• She does not have a phone or any type of social media.
• Ms. Thomas is diagnosed with schizophrenia and we were informed that she has been taking her medication.
• She does not have any family in the Wilson Area.

Oh no, this could be awful, though maybe with her mental health condition this could be something she does and then comes back in a bit? Hopeful thinking. It does say she’s been taking her meds, which is good. I wonder how easy that would be to fake? Do they actually make sure the medication is swallowed? All speculation and moo
