CONVICTION OVERTURNED NC - Jason Corbett, 39, murdered in his Wallburg home, 2 Aug 2015 #11 *Guilty*

Does anyone have a link to where it gives the release dates for the two felons so we can keep an eye on it in case it changes again when the present furore dies down. What a stunt to pull IMHO
Here you go. Currently June 2024. Hope it sticks. They do not appear to have been transferred to a facility from Davidson county yet.

Can't open file here in Ireland, can you tell me what it says please
Molly Corbett and Thomas Martens are to be released on June 6, three weeks earlier than originally stated. Something about giving credit for 21 days served earlier or something…
Anyway, it’s a huge travesty of justice!! My heart breaks for Jason‘s children and other family members.

This just kills me. I don't understand at all. Where is the justice?

MOO

Martens Corbett was released just after 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning, with Martens released just after 10 a.m.

In a statement, Jason Corbett’s daughter Sarah Corbett said that she is disappointed that Molly Martens Corbett and Thomas Martens are being released.

“The sentence disappoints me. I’m doing the best I can but I feel let down and disappointed by any outcome where the Martens are released back into society. It feels unjust that they weren’t brought before a jury of their peers. I am confident they would have been found guilty, evident by their acceptance of the plea deal.

Will be interesting to see what spin comes across in this documentary. If anything, I’m glad it’s getting some attention.

I hope Molly is living a horrible life.

I'd never even heard of this case, but came across the doc on Netflix and just finished it.

Pretty clear to me that Molly is a psycho and her dad was aiding and abetting her crazy. MOO though.
Oh the documentary was only a small glimpse into Molly. I suggest you go back and spend some time on this case. Then you can really understand the Justice for Jason movement and why this case was no justice at all for that family.

While I thought the documentary was fine, it really could have been a docu-series with more episodes to delve further into the case. It didn’t really show the horrible human beings they really are.

I'm watching this doc now and I can't believe the constant lies this woman is spewing. The pictures of the bedroom...my God. The blood evidence alone says so much.
I will continue to watch sadly, knowing those children have been left now without both of their parents.

I just watched it too, and I totally agree with you, that woman didn't want Jason, only his children and she is spinning it like she is the victim,.. it's all about her.
She only talks about herself, .her dad also with his "all that she did for "her" kids.
And.. if he really was that aggressive towards her, wouldnt there be any police reports about domestic violence??
Very toxic environment for these kids, and he started to be aware of that, but she wouldn't let the children leave...

Its very sick, but every cloud has a silver lining, Jason's family brought the children home, like Jason wanted, and he is buried with his wife, their mother.
