My God, perfect timing by this beautiful family!

As an American and a NC resident, I am proud of my State, they gave all they had to bring Justice to Jason, Jack, Sarah and all of Jason's loved ones. Please Jury, listen to Jason's voice.

Same here

Not sure I'm going to be able to take the wait for the verdict.

All it takes is for one juror to believe MM's innocent white blond all American girl act and dismiss JC as an awful caricature of an Irish lout.
NC is one of those states where all members of the jury must agree, yes?

Juries can be fickle.

I really hope that isn't the case here.

All must agree in every state.

I wish it was the majority instead of all must agree. You never know when a power freak / control freak is on a jury. I think back to Jodi Arias.

It's going to be a painful wait. Several posters have brought up appeals in their posts, but I decided not to discuss because we probably really should just wait to see what the jury concludes. I hope they are both convicted of 2nd degree murder and sentenced to the maximum allowed. But I know the jury will have a lot to discuss and any conclusion is possible. I would offer that if the jury cannot agree and is a "hung jury" for either or both defendants, then there will be a retrial. I kind of imagine what if TM is found guilty of 2nd degree murder, and they are hung on MM - then she can face her retrial without TM at her side while he wears orange in a prison cell pending his appeals.

And tonight in Ireland, I think just about as the jury begins to deliberate...a mass is being said for justice for Jason.

Yes, just as Jason's family and loved ones celebrate his life. Thought for one second that the reason that his family was not in court yesterday was that they needed a reprieve from the insanity. No, they just wanted to be where "The people of Limerick are shining a Light on Truth"

Justice for Jason.

I hope it was a good sign that the mass was on just as the jury where going off to deliberate. There is no way that it could have been timed as there was no way they would have known.

Can they up the charges to murder one?

Pray to God everyday, that it could happen, as it seems to fit the crime scene and evidence.
