Thanks for keeping us up to date on this case…So sad. Sounds like they were good parents trying their best with a rebellious son. Many families go through this, but come out on the other side with good relationships…Who would ever think their son would kill them?

I was thinking he might get second degree for his mother, killing her in uncontrolled rage.. But the killing of his father was definitely first degree… He intended to do it when he came out of the house. But if the jury agreed on first degree for the mother, they certainly saw and heard more than I did of the evidence. I’m just glad the parents got justice.

I don't think LWOP is a sentence that should be handed down to anybody who was in essence still a child when he committed these murders.
