PINK HILL, Lenoir County — Pink Hill Police are looking for a missing person.

A silver alert has been issued for Jessica Elaine Hankin, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Hankin was last seen at a home on Kinston Blvd. Investigators say Hankin was wearing a pint short-sleeved dress, with a black purse usually carried in the left hand and was also carrying a camo backpack.

Anyone that knows where Hankin may be is asked to get in touch with the Pink Hill Police Department.

Hankin is believed to have dementia or some other cognitive impairment, and is described as being 5’4″ tall, weighing 300 pounds, with brown, medium-length hair, blue eyes, and wearing a pink, short-sleeve dress, camo backpack, and a black purse, usually carried in her left hand.

She was reported missing at 8:00 a.m. Sunday, after her family discovered she had left her home at 408 North Kinston Blvd. in Pink Hill without notifying her family.

A statewide Silver Alert has been canceled for a missing Pink Hill woman.

Pink Hill police say 35-year-old Jessica Hankin was found at a hotel in Durham. She is okay, according to police.
