Jessica Lee, 41, of Sparta, left her home around 10 p.m. on July 12 driving a 1999 gold Ford Ranger.

The sheriff’s office has confirmed that Lee was in Charlotte around noon on July 13.

Jessica Lee, 41, left her home in Sparta around 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 12. She was driving a 1999 Gold Ford Ranger.

She was last seen wearing an orange-striped top and white shorts. Jessica has a left wrist tattoo of a heart and an infinity symbol. She wears prescription glasses. She's 5'7", 140 pounds with dyed pink, blue & purple hair.

Alleghany County Sheriff’s has confirmed that Jessica was in Charlotte around noon on July 13. She has ties in Charlotte and in Surry County.

Update. In reference to missing person Jessica Lee. A single vehicle wreck was located off of I77 in Iredell county last night. The vehicle had been over the bank out of view of passers by for several days, possibly weeks. The vehicle involved in the wreck was the vehicle that Jessica Lee had last been seen in. The medical examiners office confirms that Jessica Lee was the person found in the vehicle deceased. The medical examiner confirmed that the cause of death was from this vehicle wreck.
