27-year-old Jordan Elaine Smith (aka Jordan Smith Barbee) was last seen April 4, 2021 in Concord, North Carolina.

She was staying at a hotel in Kannapolis. A friend said she left with a short, chubby, tatted white male from the QT convenience store at Cloverleaf.

Jordan is described as a white female, 5'6" and approximately 120 lbs., with dyed blonde hair and brown eyes.

Jordan has several tattoos, including a cheetah print on her right shoulder and arm, the name “Kohyn” on her chest, and the word “Sterling” on the back of her neck.

Anyone with information that may lead to the location of Jordan Smith is asked to contact the City of Concord PD at 704-920-6019, the CUE Center for Missing Persons 24-hour tip line at 910-232-1687, or Submit a Tip - Cabarrus Area Crime Stoppers

omg she has such a beautiful voice too... I live near the Greensboro area and will keep an eye out and try to spread the word. I hope and pray she is found and most of all that her little boy is covered in love and support.

Her tattoos will be the most helpful way to spot her since her hair color changes a lot and people can look different with makeup/no makeup.. hair done vs messy .. etc.. will keep an eye out for those Tatts!

She was staying in the hotel. Her mom (my family) reported that she was last seen in Rowan County which is a little further up I-85

Where did she get her tattoos do you know? The person she was with had a bunch of tattoos may be someone she dated . Where did she work.

Woman says people are impersonating missing daughter

Tracie Barbee, of Concord, said people are using her missing daughter’s name to try and get money from her.

“What’s really sad, she was only asking for $200,” TB said.

Police arrested that person but there were others.

“Like I said, it wasn’t the only one, just the one that did get caught,” TB said. “I was able to secure the phone number.”

N.C. Missing Persons Awareness Day brings spotlight to helpful resources

Tracie Barbee, along with her daughter and sister, represented one of the many families who registered for the event. Two years ago, Barbee’s youngest daughter, Jordan Smith, left her friend’s house and hasn’t been seen since.

“The worst of it and what what hurts me or anyone going through this is the not knowing,” Barbee said. “Which is why we're here today. Because this family needs to know. I need to bring her home. I just need to bring her home, whatever that means.”

Barbee has gotten a detective, community groups, law enforcement and media outlets to help look for her daughter. Although she has a lot of support, she says it’s easy to feel forgotten as time passes. An event like this helps her and others feel heard.
