Man Arrested on Rape, Kidnapping Charges After 13-Year-Old Rescued from North Carolina Home

A North Carolina man is in custody for human trafficking, kidnapping, and rape, after a 13-year-old girl from Dallas was found locked in his shed.

A 13-year-old girl who was missing has been found locked inside a shed in North Carolina. A man is in custody and charged with several crimes including human trafficking.

A 34-year-old man named Jorge Camacho is now in custody in Davidson County and being held on a bond of more than $1.2 million. He's being charged with abduction of children, felonious restraint, human trafficking, two counts of statutory rape of a child under 15, two counts of statutory sexual offense with a child under 15, and indecent liberties with a child. All of the charges are felonies.

Jorge Ivan Santos Camacho, 34, of 10438 Linwood Southmont Road, Lexington, pleaded guilty in Davidson County Superior Criminal Court to felony first-degree kidnapping and felony statutory rape of a child under 15 years old. He was sentenced to 20 to 29 years in prison.

He was also ordered to pay $600 in restitution as well as court costs, and he will be required to register as a sex offender for the next 30 years.
