I remember it was all over the news channels on TV, FB, Twitter and phone alerts about the severe weather and told to not be on the roads. There’s no way I would have tried to drive 40 miles in that kind of weather. Especially back roads when a lot of main roads in the area were flooded.
So sad :(

Not much more info in msm about this but I did see a quote from the Sheriff's office:

Mother of 1-year-old swept away by floodwaters charged with involuntary manslaughter
So I'm kind of left a little confused. The sheriff seems to think this was a tragic accident but apparently the DA thought differently?

what is the point in this? MAYBE I can see child endangerment... but not involuntary manslaughter. the woman I am sure is already devastated and blaming herself. I just dnt like seeing this when meanwhile we have CPS keep "reunifying" poor defenseless kids w their abusive, drug addicted parents.
