I call foul! Ruben , you're killing me... tossing in a firecracker then signing off.... I am in the midst of kitchen/bedroom reno & have much more to do than monitor WS.... yet, here I sit.

I checked a couple local mainstream news sources & found ZILCH-O. If anyone has a clue, please PM me. Otherwise, I'll be here awaiting scintillating news. I believe when there is a break in this case, everything will happen at mach speed.

Ruben, if tomatoes weren't so dang expensive right now , & I didn't love them so much, I would be throwing them at you! And that's another thing I should be doing, planting my salad garden. I sure hope you are back on soon with the complete lowdown!!!!

In regard to the sister locking her keys in the car, I have another way to lock keys in the car. I believe I have locked my keys in the car more ways than can be imagined - with the engine running several times, in fact. But, the most recent time was when I was going to a hair appointment. I took the keys out of the ignition, and had them in my hand. When I picked up my purse the keys dropped to the floor, but in my hurry to get out of the car I didn't notice. I had already locked the doors by hitting the lock button on the driver's side door. Since the keys were not in the ignition the car had not way to alarm/alert me. Even if done on purpose, the sister could have left the keys on the seat, or on the floor, etc. Later, when she called the locksmith she could simply have said that the keys must have fallen out of her pocket, or her purse, etc. and she didn't know it until she got out of the car and shut the locked door. And, there is one way to lock keys in the car without setting of the alerts.

If I have dark circles under my eyes tomorrow, guess who will be blamed.

Did any of you recognize the sister in the footage shown at the funeral? Local news, I think it was WRAL, showed the family outside of the church and also walking to an area outside with her ashes. Was the sister seen with the family in those videos? Is there anyone here who knows what she looks like?

Would LE be able to obtain a search warrant for internet records of a suspect to show what topics the suspect may have been researching AFTER the date of the crime?

GREAT QUESTIONS Prancy. I think they CAN, but let's see what the experts say about it. :snooty:

Yes, You can get a search warrant for ANYTHING if Law Enforcement has suspicion.

Prancy, I do think they have to show probable cause to get a warrant but in the case of a suspect, I would think LE would be able to get a warrant to search his/her computer.

Because what they researched before the murder would be important.

What are you thinking as far as researched after?

I wonder if a suspect might be researching things such as, criminal defense attorneys, brain injuries, automatic door locks, polygraph results, crime message boards, etc. Not that googling those things would be an indication of guilt. They may be able to get the info straight from the search engine they used or would they need a search warrant for that? Searches aren't confidential are they? Just curious.

Well, if you were a suspect in a murder, you might Google criminal defense attorneys. But that would not indicate guilt ... just that you needed an attorney.

IMO:
But the other things you mentioned -- if they were researched prior to the murder, they would be circumstantial but raise a red flag. Googling them after ... would mean nothing because you could say you were trying to prove that you were innocent.

If they got a warrant for the computer, they'd be able to find all kinds of interesting things on it, even things people thought they deleted.

OT
Sgt. Joe Snodgrass and murder of his wife Julie
I was watching Forensic Files last night, and during questioning in his office, the suspect grabbed a floppy disk and proceeded to cut it up with pinking shears. LE then knew there must be something on that disk but could it be recovered?

Calls to other agencies on how to get the information off the now cut up disk resulted in "it will take months, possibly a year, and it will cost $1 million" ... until one of the AF guys said, "Are you willing to let me give it a try since you've gone to all the Big Boys and they couldn't do it?" He ended up taping the floppy disk back together on the backside ... recovering 85 percent of the data ... enough evidence that backed up the housekeeper's story and convicted the guy.

No, she was not shown in the clips via the media. Attractive, slender & younger looking than her age.....like K? Not at all. She is younger than K but looks much older.

You're saying Dina is attractive, slender and younger looking than her age ... but looks much older than K?

Of course, K had the benefit of plastic surgery to help her look younger. Do you know whether DH also has?

KT was 62. How old is DH?

TIA

I think someone posted about this.

It's about LE releasing the crime scene. I wonder if the bf will return to it. That would be very awkward IMO. I don't know what I would do with it, but I'm pretty sure I couldn't stay there, except maybe if I knew what happened. I can't imagine putting it on the market right away either.
