How can you not think she may have been somewhat involved? None of her stories are matching up, she is known to have a history of drug/alcohol abuse, as out at the bar while she was supposed to be watching over her sister who had surgery, locked her keys in her car yet the car was at the house...

No question after listening to the tape ....it was not D. She was panicky, not believing what she was seeing. OMG. It could not have been D. No way.

Wish we had heard this tape in the beginning. Start thinking, people...please. The sister sounds completely genuine. completely. She is not a medical professional, and she is completely natural. There is no deception here.

"Involved" because she may have been drinking?
Sorry greentree, she may have some 'guilt' for not acting when she heard the noise at 3am, but that does not make her actions in any way related to what this male intruder did to KT.

This raises more questions as everyone is pointing out. When the 911 operator asked DH about whether the snoring was like before, this is what I heard:

"Yea, but, maybe, not. I mean it was like it was last night when I went outside. We went upstairs about three."

Did anyone else hear that or is it my imagination?

I can see where you are coming from with D but I still feel like it is too weird to be completely random. Guess we will wait and see.

Just speculating here and I will admit I have not followed this case as closely as others but people can still suspect DH after a rape was confirmed b/c the rape could be staged. For example, an instrument of some sort could have been used to rape her not necessarily a male body part.

I have no idea if the sister is guilty or not but those 911 calls are hinky.

I disagree. The sister did not seem that upset to me. For someone staring down at someone with blood everywhere and foaming at the mouth she seemed a bit to relaxed. Also they way she was counting out her breathing made it sound as if Kathy was panting. If you saw you sister in that situation wouldn't a natural reaction be to somehow want to help her not just stand over her looking at her???

Really not trying to be rude or disgusting but take a look at some of the items they confiscated...beer bottles....gun barrells...both long cylindrical items.

Rest assured all of KT's potential consensual sexual partners were tested.
She just returned from an extended Florida vacation to visit her daughter and grandkids. The male DNA the cops have is obviously unmatched.

So it's been stated that the sexual assault kit yielded unknown male DNA?

At about 0:18 mark:

She says "I've been here with her. I checked on her last night, and I just got -- checked on her this morning."

Was she about to say she just got home? just got up?

If she left to get the Durango from the grocery store, she may have "just got home" ... and that would explain why her vehicle was there.

Ahh, consider the cops checked male neighbors for their DNA 2 weeks later...about the time the results would have come back.
