Like I said before, drugs and sex go hand in hand. IMO, the rape may have occurred first as she was probably in a pain induced stupor and awoke to this happening to her. Then probably she got awake real good and started to defend herself which caused the blow. I would imagine she got a good look at him and could identify so he had to do something. Just MO

The plastic bag corners could have been the homeowner's for all we know.

Good point. Cant they tell how old the bags/drugs are?

Does anyone feel like D's inconsistencies still may play or part or do we feel relieved they found the right person?

My other question is that did D let him into the house or did he break in or no because of the unlocked door? Was she buying drugs and do we know for sure she does drugs?

It just doesn't even seem probable that she'd come up here from Oriental, NC to help her sis out and at the same time, work a drug deal in. I just can't see it.

Meth now seems to be the drug of choice right now and I believe it enhances the sex from what I know of some circumstances. When on that, you don't care about your family, your kids or nothing but the next fix and how to get it, plus you stay up for hours. When coming down off this stuff, you best not irritate one who has this addiction, nor do you accuse them of doing drugs. That is a volitale situation.

I don't think she let him in. My guess is she was either out of the house at the time and he came in an unlocked door OR she was "asleep" on the couch or upstairs in bed and he came in unlocked door. I get the feeling the door was unlocked. I don't remember hearing anything about signs of forced entry.

I agree, but was his address on the post it note in her car. Just a possible idea. Drug people know drug people who know drug people.

I'm just happy to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I PRAY that they do have a good case and it will all fit together somehow. I fear that issues with the sister's statement could open the door for the defense unless the case is air tight.

I was just looking at the WRAL message board and it has been closed. I think due to the number of posts saying this guy is a scape goat. I don't know what they base that on. Maybe we'll find out more at the PR tomorrow.

I'm curious as to whether he has confessed, is denying any involvment or claims to have reason to have been there but did nothing wrong. I think that would be difficult to explain, even if he knew JG. He would have no reason to be there with him out of town.

You can also get into some houses with a piece of plastic, like a credit card. Seems like too many Greenville connections to have just gone in there not knowing who was in there. He may have been a regular at GG also???

I agree. I hadn' t seen they closed the WRAL message board. Why were they saying he was a scape goat? I hope we find out more tomorrow. He wouldn't confess unless he did it or didn't remember doing it. I felt better they arrested someone but my gut still isn't completely fine.

Can't see him at GG. More upscale, 40s-60s professional crowd.

Great questions Prancy. Will we every find out? It is all very sad but I will feel better knowing it's a confirmed done deal for arrest.

It is a confirmed done deal.
Jason Williford was arrested and charged with rape and murder.

Well, KT's family is very relieved they arrested the right person.
D was cleared, remember?
She had nothing to do w/ her sister's rape and murder

Well, a suspended sentence for breaking and entering is just wrong. Criminals should do jail time for breaking into someone's home. If police aren't going to keep burglars off the street either we are going to have to arm ourselves or something. It just escalates.

Maybe this case will get some officials and politicians to take a good hard look at the justice system and the light sentences that people are getting for drugs and burglarizing. Someone who would break into a home is a no good person in my book and has the potential to harm someone. And B & E is a misdemeanor? This has to stop.

Even if they got the wrong guy - I would not want this guy in my neighborhood.

The 2001 B&E was a felony.
He was convicted and given a suspended sentence and probation.

I'm catching up....can you point me to where this is? Thanks!

And great news on the arrest!

ETA: I see it was a question not a statement

Not witch hunting but if D had so many DWI's covered up just makes you wonder.

Huh?
Dee was charged with 1 DWI >5 years ago.
Makes you wonder about what?
