Kellie S. Owens was found dead inside her home on Meadow Vista Road. Her 2-year-old daughter was found beside her. No suspect has been named.

Police say in December 2007, someone shot and killed Kellie Owens in her north Charlotte condo while her 2-year-old daughter was in the next room, unharmed.

On Thursday, at the scene of the crime, her family and police asked the public for help getting new leads in the murder investigation.
