A Connelly Springs man reported missing toward the end of February was found dead.

Burke County Sheriff’s Office deputies said that Kenneth “Kenny” Ray Phillips was previously reported to be last seen on Feb. 20 at his home on Berea Church Road Extension in Connelly Springs.

His remains were found on April 5 near Taylor Avenue, about 3 miles away. Deputies did not find signs of foul play.
