Family fears the worst after human remains found in Swannanoa

On July 10, the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office posted on its Facebook page that Beutin's brother Kevin Cannon was missing. He was last seen near the Wilson Cove Road area.
“Some people may accept, ‘he went missing in this general area, we found bones in this general area, we think it’s your brother.’ That is not who my sister and I are,” Beutin, who lives in Arizona, said. “Until we have DNA results, we are not going to be satisfied with that.”
“We just want some answers for our brother. We love him."
She said, although she and her siblings were adopted, they were extremely close growing up.
“So, we all look different, but we grew up in an amazing family,” Beutin said. “So much love.”
Beutin said they're holding on to that love as the case develops.
