Y'all, I knew this guy. I have a feeling when he gets caught there will be a can of worms open. He moved to FL after his prison stint in NC. Then up and moved to GA quickly. Then back to the NC mountains quickly. Then to the NC coast quickly. I've got to find his move dates but have a feeling this may not be his first rodeo. There is an unsolved Durham case that his age and location add up to way too close for me.

Authorities said Kevin Glenn Carter, 52, of Hampstead, has relatives in Durham as well as in the Efland and Mebane areas.

On 1 February 2018 Kevin Carter was sentenced to 23-32 years in prison after pleading guilty to kidnapping and raping a woman in 2016.

Man gets at least 23 years in prison for 2016 kidnapping, rape incident

District Attorney Ben David said Thursday that Kevin Glenn Carter, of Hampstead, was sentenced to 23-32 years in prison for his role in a Dec. 21, 2016, incident involving a Topsail Beach woman.
