Watching Matt's testimony. They tried to drag him into this too with the hitch? Wow. It seems to me that he got the heebie-jeebies from them starting at the morning phone call on the 14th.

This young man appears very uncomfortable testifying. His little eyes keep darting over to the defense table every 10 seconds. I don't blame him, GH is scary.

Yeah...It seems Amanda called him on Friday night wanting him to install the hitch (for the U-Haul) on their Durango. He was off on Saturday and thought he could perhaps convince his employer (he's an automotive technician somewhere) to use the lift to do it, but she/they kept asking really detailed questions and pissing him off (basically doubting his expertise, I guess and/or setting off red flags?), and he finally said no, he had never done one on a Durango and referred them to another place.

So, now Amanda has sufficiently drug her sister into this and tried to get her son-in-law involved as well. :facepalm:

That does match up with the detective's testimony about the feral pig hunter guy in Texas and how they are a problem there. Goes toward premeditation. Good move on the prosecution.

I (apparently) have to keep sending messages to WRAL to tell them to wake up the cameraman and focus on the damn screen in the courtroom. On the upside, at least they actually read their messages. But if you're going to stream a trial then for doG's sake, show everything the gallery is allowed to see.

He's a bit nervous, but he seems like an okay young man. He's AH's nephew, the older son of her sister who lives there in Richmond, Tx, Matt (?) Berry. I see a bit of family resemblance. He's a grounds/yard man at a small rental theme park, and he has a business with two others where they hunt & trap feral hogs for subdivisions & ranchers.

GH asked him questions about alligators -- will they eat people; and will sharks (they also shark fished) eat people. He is answering questions, it seems to me, as thoroughly & honestly as he can. He had never met GH or his children before. They did not have enuff time to really get into long talks or activities during that short visit.

Very respectful and uncomplicated individual.

Next witness is Dalton Berry, this man's younger brother.

I hope the prosecution ends this up with a timeline to and including the Craigslist ads. I have no doubt now that Amanda was a part of this planning. It's all about $$$$ for her. She had just sold her last valuables and wanted to get back to the Virgin Islands for her and Grant to be "happy" with the kids.

She has asked both boys about the coolers and each replied 'when I was helping Grant clean them' but she has not asked what they coolers held, if they saw blood in them, or what exactly did they help Grant clean out of them, etc.
