I think the Prosecution will rest after today. JMHO.

Please tell us there is some DNA evidence on all the red stained, bleached out towels and clothing. DNA from men's underwear from trash tying these clothes back to GH? Woman's shirt and pants tying back to AH?

I"m happy to.

I'll put the one up of the judge after we have a verdict. I'll feel more comfortable about putting it out there after that. I hope you guys understand.

The rest of what I've grabbed today is a lot. Should I put them here? It will make the thread load so slowly......

I'm ok with waiting on all of them. But I would love to see the one of the Judge when the trial is over. I may try to save it, he is my local hero, and this may be his last trial.

I'm a newb trial watcher. What is the reason for them showing us a seemingly normal bath mat?

Not sure but IMO why throw out a perfectly good bath mat unless it was part of a set and the other pieces had blood etc on it.

I'm over here cursing.

He's so smug. I can't stand it. 4 blue gloves. 2 yellow latex kitchen gloves. 2 respirator masks. A pair of hard plastic goggles. Bleach. Towels. Clothes. TracPhone.

His and her sets. For the couple who kills together.

Okay, sports fans -- here comes my doh! question of this trial: What made the LEO's start looking in the creek/lake to begin with? Many TIA.

I wondered the same thing. Perhaps they knew the sister's house was right across the road? Or did they talk to the nephews before searching the creek?

Cell phone pings from that area were their first clue. Then they found out about the trip, and then saw the creek on Google maps, or one of those satellite photo systems. IIRC.

I think one of the first detectives triangulated Grant's phone to Texas (despite him having a TracPhone). I think they went from there and realized that Amanda's sister lived in Texas.

What? What screenshots? I can't see them *cries*

Oh no, don't cry seattlechiquita! I haven't loaded any from today, except the note found in GH parents home on the back of an old envelope. Everything else I've got sitting in PB.

IIRC, one of the gentleman w/ RPD who was working on cell phones got a GPS location from AT&T on GH's cell phone. When he plugged in the GPS coordinates, it pulled to AH sister's home & he saw the creek on Google maps.

Wow, Boz is amping this up like no other. Nice crescendo for the day, sir.

I don't think Grant will testify now. There's really not a lot he can say to make this sound even remotely reasonable.

No, there's not. But I still think he'll testify. His narcissism will always trump any logic, good judgment or sound legal advice he may receive.

Plus, he'll get to talk about his favorite subject: GRANT HAYES AND THE AWESOMENESS OF GRANT HAYES! IMO, he must surely be thinking that if he explains what REALLY happened, the jury will see him for the wonderful, gentle person he really is, how he is also a victim in all this and set him free immediately!

JMHO.

So basically these two geniuses have never read about any other murder case, ever, made things ridiculously complicated for themselves and left a gigantic, multi-state evidence trail?

Jeez. Is the camera man asleep? Want to see pics!

I noticed that too in his last-minute FB postings to Laura's friends. They took MY COMPUTER, MY MUSIC, MY PHONE, MINE ,MINE, MINE!!!! Nevermind that the mother of your children is missing and you will get YOUR stuff back ASAP once they clear you. Or not. LOL!

Rethinking the possible (probable?) lack of DNA from the items that were obviously bleached. It really doesn't matter. The fact that they are all bleached and then trashed tells the story, along with the volumes of other evidence.

Funny, my main bath is nekkid also at this point. LOL! Tiled and re-painted it over a year ago and I'm just getting ready to replace the towels and mats. But, I have no need to bleach them and throw them away. They're in good shape and will go to
Goodwill.

Amanda should be on notice that the State is leaving no stone unturned in this case. This is a very thorough investigation and presentation to jurors. (So much time and $ spent on this.)

I'm not 100% sure. I'll redact it for now. I was trying to listen and type at the same time. Heh.

So, what's the consensus here? Do you all think the storage unit was used at all or was this whole horrific thing done in the apartment?

Until I saw (again) how jam-full the storage locker was I had thought the hacking was done in there, Surfie. If they removed the big furniture piece that they were going to take to Tx, that may have given them the room to do it. I had thought from the get-go that they did their dirty work in the storage locker. Put down a tarp and/or a old or cheap new blanket & newpapers and do the ol' hack & sack. That's what I would have done.

But that hall bathroom was clean, clean, clean, :sweep: so what went on in there? They could have let her bleed to death in there -- who knoze??
