Found Safe NC - Lounnisha Renee Askew, 4 months, Bladen Co., 15 July 2019 *taken by non-custodial parent*

I’m fairly local. This happened at 5 pm yesterday and I just got the Amber Alert at 11 am this morning.

The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the help of the public in locating Lonnisha Renee Askew, 4 month old black female who was abducted from a day care facility near Bladenboro, NC at approximately 5:00 pm, Monday afternoon by a non custodial parent, Juanita Renee Askew, age 22 of Whiteville, NC.

The child was last seen wearing a green and pink “onesie” with circle designs. The child has a surgical scar on her abdomen and needs special foods and care due to a birth defect. The child also has a cyst over her right eye and a red birthmark on the back of her head.

The mother, Juanita Askew should be considered dangerous. She has violent tendencies and abrupt mood swings.

Lonnisha Renee Askew was taken from a daycare near Bladenboro at around 5 p.m. by Juanita Renee Askew, 22, of Whiteville. Juanita Askew, the child’s mother, is the non-custodial parent.

Lonnisha was last seen wearing a green and pink onesie with circle designs. She has a surgical scar on her abdomen and needs special foods and care due to a birth defect. The child also has a cyst over her right eye and a red birthmark on the back of her head.

Update: Bladen County Sheriff’s Office has located missing 4-month-old Lonnisha Renee Askew.

Bladen County Sheriff’s Office says family of the child cooperated. The mother of the child handed over the baby to the family at a undisclosed location.
