If you're referring to the MJ comment, that's not past tense. English translation according to FB:![]()

I was just writing a post about this. I agree, it doesn't sound as badly when using Google, it loses a lot of its nuance. I am Romanian, and in Romanian it's more like "she would put on her hat ... she would dance like him.." More like the language you use when reminiscing about a person who is no longer here. Of course, I may be biased, and see things that aren't there. If you're referring to the MJ comment, that's not past tense. English translation according to FB:
"My daughter has always been a Michael Jackson fan.. He put on his hat, gloves, ballerinas and danced like him... Moon walk... Health..."
Past tense would be "my daughter was always a MJ fan".
Thanks for explaining how it sounds in Romanian. That definitely changes the way the message is received.I was just writing a post about this. Thank you, I was really starting to think I may have rushed to judgement. There are differences between how Romanians and Moldovans speak, even though it's the same language, so maybe the difference could come from there. To me, her post has a definite reminiscence vibe. Thanks for explaining how it sounds in Romanian. That definitely changes the way the message is received.
Interesting question. "Bring her home." To where? Isn't home wherever he mother is, essentially? If mom knows where she is, has authorized another adult to caretake, perhaps Madalina is already home, wherever that is.
“[It] said something along the lines of, ‘I feel like you’re taking advantage of me because you don’t pay me,’” Stefan said.

Grandmother of Madalina Cojocari’s best friend says mother wanted payment for playdates

so Diana refused to let her daughter go to the friend's, insisting that play time happen at her own home, and then was irked she wasn't being paid for providing the supervision she herself insisted she must have control of. Not at all surprised. Diana is about money and the pursuit of material things. Right down to monetizing playtime with her daughter.Leanne Stefan said her granddaughter played with Madalina at least once a week for nearly three years when they were 8, 9 and 10 years old.
…
“I would go over there and go in the house. The living room was filled with toys: doll houses, horses, everything a girl could want ... Never once did I suspect anything," Stefan said. “When they would see each other, my granddaughter would like ‘Madi!’ They would just hug each other and it was just precious what they had.”
Stefan said they tried several times to have Madalina Cojocari over to their house to play, but except for one time, Diana Cojocari always said “no.”
…
However, nearly three years into the girls' friendship, Stefan said a text sent by Diana Cojocari, brought the friendship to a halt.

Diana’s home, presumably with her family but no happy reunion between mother and daughter.so Diana refused to let her daughter go to the friend's, insisting that play time happen at her own home, and then was irked she wasn't being paid for providing the supervision she herself insisted she must have control of. I wonder if we will ever know what became of Madalina![]()
Not Moldavian, but I am quite sure they are aware. Madalinas case was in the news in many many countries in Europe that are far away from Moldova. The Moldovan people are aware of the case for sure and I am hopeful that the US police/government had official contact with Moldovian ones. As no crimes were committed in Moldova (AFAIK), they might not have a case for her per say. Has Madalina been added to Interpol? If yes, can anyone please link her profile? If not, does anyone know, why not?Are Moldavian authorities aware of all this? Are they also looking into Madalina's disappearance?
Just a small correction, Madalina’s birthday is April 11. “La multi ani” is a celebration wish that doesn’t have a good English equivalent that I know of. It roughly means “may (you) live many years” and it’s used both for birthdays but it’s also the traditional wish on New Year day. Actually people say “La multi ani” at midnight on New Year, and usually greet each other saying La Multi Ani when they first see each other in the new year. And it’s almost a must to call or send texts to family and friends wishing them all the best and La Multi Ani.Today , 12/31 ,according to Diana Cojocari is Madalina'a Birthday. This picture on her FB with the writing
La Multi Ani Madalinei... Compasiunea intruchipata pe Pamint... Fericire Pura!
Translated with google in English Happy Birthday to Madalina... Compassion embodied on Earth... Pure Happiness!
Thank you for explaining the meaning of her comment, just so strange of her to say anything to Madalina now. Also I can see from another facebook she has that she seems to be doing her ritualistic beliefs as she was known to do here in NC .Just a small correction, Madalina’s birthday is April 11. “La multi ani” is a celebration wish that doesn’t have a good English equivalent that I know of. So, I think DC was wishing Madalina a happy new year. I really want to cling to the hope that Madalina is alive, but sadly I think her mother robbed her of her “many years”.![]()
To me this could read 2 different ways. Either Diana all of a sudden got a bug up her butt or someone was in Diana's ear about the situation. I really do wonder if she gave her away to someone, or sold her... maybe child bride type situation?Leanne Stefan said her granddaughter played with Madalina at least once a week for nearly three years when they were 8, 9 and 10 years old.
