WAYNE COUNTY, NC (WITN) - Deputies are investigating whether a body found in a ditch on Monday is related to Hurricane Florence.
The body of Marcus Wiley was found by a landscaper who was cleaning up the area along U.S. 117 south of Goldsboro.

Deputies investigating after body found in ditch along US 117 South in GoldsboroThe Wayne County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a human body found in a large ditch on 1750 US 117 South in Goldsboro on Monday.
An investigation showed that the area in which the victim was found had been flooded for over a week and the water in that area had just receded.
The body was found by a landscaper who was cleaning up the area.
The victim was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital Morgue.
The cause of Wiley's death has not been determined. It's unclear yet whether the death was storm-related.
Detectives are conducting interviews and reviewing surveillance footage from nearby businesses.
Autopsy results are pending.
