Just throwing this out there but it's a really bad idea to assume someone's thought process and feelings based on one photo taken. We don't know what he is thinking or feeling and I think it does no good and doesn't contribute to the discussion about Mariah's case by speculating on someone else's feelings. For all you know he broke down in tears (he didn't, just saying) the moment after this photo was taken. Of course he looks smug here, that's what the photog was going for, they don't take pictures to record things, they look for shock factor and what they know is going to upset people.

IMO, I think it's a waste of time and mental energy to keep rehashing what we think he is thinking or feeling, to speculate on his looks because ultimately it doesn't matter. He could be falling on the ground in despair and lamentation and empathic psychics would still say "Oh..look at him..he doesn't care, he's upset for himself...hang him...HANG HIM!!!" We should be focusing on finding the truth, not Earl's mental state.

Just my 2-cents.

Sounds like the cps report was done specifically for the case and the boys were injured the same day Mariah died. I hope those boys didn't see the whole thing.

Whoa. He wasn't floating the theory. He was disgusted by it and openly disdainful. They were trying to show how horrible these people are.

Not the brightest move and maybe why LE told him not to talk, but nothing evil about it to me.

I am disappointed In Nancy and others. Emotions are running high and talking to media is a big no no!

Hmmm. That doesn't sit right with me. How did they get a confidential case file and more importantly, why are they beaming that confidential case file across the country. That not only sounds very illegal but...just scummy.

Also just mg opinion as I’m allowed to have, but the father going on air and telling the world what he did is horrible for that little boy. He needs major parenting help IMO. It would have come out as it’s a rumor that’s been going around a couple days- but it didn’t have to come from him.

I would guess that the SA allegation is a repeat of what AW said. It wasn't in the CPS report that was just aired (the one I heard anyway)

I don't think she would have wanted to save him from being arrested. That's not natural.

Which reminds me of something the bio dad said in the NG interview. He alleges that from what he heard, KW told EK that EK had better get rid of Mariah's body in case "we" get into trouble.

That could just be how things change in the whisper game, but I think it goes well with your observation.

The interview seems to have been recorded prior to LE telling him Not to talk.



It was mid-30's through low 60's.

For some reason there are people on here that don't want to hear anything from the father and continue to find fault with him. He called BS on the abduction story from the very start. Called a spade a spade. Props for him speaking the truth. If Mariah had been with him, she most likely would still be alive today!!

You know everyone, including the grandmother, living in the trailer knew he was on drugs and abusing the children. It makes me sick to watch the old video (prior to his arrest) of the family spokesperson asking the public for gas gift cards, clothes for the boys, and grocery gift cards. Who does this all the while knowing MW was already deceased? They were trying to benefit from this tragedy!

I'm not going to speculate at all about what people did or didn't do, what they feel or don't feel, I just want to express my deep regret that this little angel had to endure anything but love from the adults around her and to pray for Justice and truth for Mariah. I want all the truth to come out, I want those who are guilty to be held accountable and punished. I don't care about dressers, or facial expressions or what the police told AW he could say or not say. All I care about is Mariah Woods and those who had a hand in her death to me punished to the full extent of the law. IMO
