Cpl. Christy Cleary works in the Violent Crimes Unit and is handling Teague’s case. She said police haven’t seen much new information.
“Unfortunately, we don’t have any additional leads at this time,” she said Tuesday.
Cleary added that this case is different from most missing persons’ cases. She said typically either you have just the person, or the car missing; not both.
She also said Teague’s Jeep has not been found.
That unknowing is what makes it difficult to hold onto hope for those close to Teague.
Hoping this leads to some valuable information and to find Marty.

Statesville Police Department received information that led to the discovery of missing person Marty Teague’s vehicle on an abandoned piece of property east of the city limits on Sain Rd. Statesville PD, along with Iredell Search and Rescue, NC State Bureau of Investigation and Troutman Fire are conducting a search of the area at this time.
