I sure hope this woman has learned a lesson, straightens up and flies right upon receiving her second chance 4.5 years from now. I heard a Rosemary Godwin, her attorney, talk about Sarah's traumatic youth as a cause of her making poor choices. Well, she's very lucky to be getting the second chance that Melissa Huggins and her family cannot have.

And I hope her son will be better off and not damaged by having Sarah return into his life when she's released from prison.

Agree, Boodles, agree -- and "Hi" :seeya: to you!

There are several courses that she (I hope) will be encouraged to take, something having to do with making better decisions, parenting, etc., in prison. Of course they are free, and she is there, so maybe her first good decision will be to take theses course, and get her GED. I do think she found herself way over her head with Ronald Anthony and was very young when it all got started.

As you say, however, Melissa's daughter and her parents who spoke so lovingly about her and about how close they all were, (SMH and almost tear-y again), will never hug her, never wrap another birthday present for her, never even see her again in this life. Oh, she had worked so hard (I know -- I worked in the commercial part of a bank for four years). The powers-that-be do not give someone the opportunity to open the flagship office of a bank without that person being an outstanding employee and citizen.

Anyway, we can put this one to bed and feel a little better about justice being served as best as it can be.
