Attempt to Locate Missing Person – Henderson County October 27, 2018

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on the whereabouts of Michael Joseph King. Mr. King is a 55-year-old white male, approximately 5’11”, 250-260 lbs. with grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve grey button up shirt and blue jeans. Mr. King has not been heard from since Thursday, October 25th at approximately 7:45am. His black Dodge Ram truck has been located around Evans Road and Kanuga Lake Road. If members of the public have any information that would assist first responders in locating Mr. King, they are asked to call the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office at (828) 697-4911.

I found that Mike is the service manager at EGolf Motors in Hendersonville. The place opens around 7:30 a.m. If the last communication was at 7:45, he may have been at work or at least contacted his employer to say that he wouldn't be in. He doesn't have much of a social media presence.

Hendersonville is a small town in many ways. Someone at work tomorrow will know him or his sisters best friends hairdresser. Small town living at best!

Missing Henderson Co. man Michael King found dead, deputies say

Henderson County deputies say Michael Joseph King has been found dead about one mile from where his vehicle was found Thursday evening.

Around 6:40 p.m. Sunday deputies said King had been located, but a short time later said he had been found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot.

These are the ones that hurt so much. If I was sitting around and the phone rang and it was Mike, I'd have talked his ear off telling him that he's got all kinds of people supporting him.
