I know the cover-up of Nancy's disappearance has caused a rift in the Lam family. I was in court with Nancy's family during a pre trial hearing for the brother, sister, and nephew (the sisters son). The brother sat on the opposite side of the courtroom and did not look at or speak with the sister or the nephew the entire time. Now would be a perfect time for any of them or all three of them to cut a deal in Nancy's case.

I have been checking ever so often this morning to see if any new news of this arrest come up.
As of yet, nothing.

Met with investigators this morning. I have already started searching for Amber and the missing vehicle. Will be searching Retention Ponds and Lakes in the area for the foreseeable future

Rowan County Sheriff SRT executed a search warrant early this morning at 415 shore acres Road Salisbury North Carolina. Units are still on the scene and Cabarrus County bomb squad has been contacted for assistance at this location.
There is no immediate danger to the surrounding area, however, neighbors that are present have been notified of the situation. More details to follow as this is an ongoing investigation.

This address is where Ricky's sister, Vienchan Lam, and Nephew, Johnathan Lam, live. I am told they were arrested as well as Van Lam, the brother. The charges are Concealment of a Body. Nancy has yet to be found.

Last week was crazy busy with Nancy's case.

I was in court on Sept 30th for the first appearance of Van, Vienchan, and Johnathan Lam. They were all brought in separately during the morning in between other cases. They are court ordered to have no contact with one another.

Vienchan was first and she looked a bit peeved to be there. She has the most charges out of the three. Van was next and appeared to be very concerned about his predicament. Johnathan was last and resembled a "deer in the headlights". All of them are being held on a $1 Million dollar bond each.

I was back in court on Oct 1st for Ricky's first appearance on charges for Nancy's Case. First Degree Murder, Concealment of a Body, and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony. He is being held without bond. He looked to be apathetic about it all. The prosecutors in Nancy's case and well as Amber's case are seeking the death penalty.

There has been more evidence developed about what happened the night Nancy went missing. I now have a greatly reduced area of interest to search. Granted, there are still 8 major lakes/reservoirs, a few rivers, and a few hundred smaller lakes and retention ponds in this area. Even some creeks may be deep enough to conceal a vehicle.

This past weekend I cleared 2 of the 8 major Lakes/Reservoirs.

Here is an update in Amber Schimmelpfenning's case who was also murdered by Ricky.

"A Forsyth County man has been accused of helping dispose of the dismembered body of a 36-year-old woman who was killed last month.

Leslie Andrew Greene, 47, of Union Cross Road was arrested Oct. 2 and charged with felony concealing or failure to report a death and accessory after the fact in the death of Amber Marie Schimmelpfenning, according to a Forsyth County arrest warrant. The warrant says that after Ricky Lam, 41, of Salisbury killed Schimmelpfenning, the body was dismembered at Greene’s property.

Investigators announced Sept. 26 that they had found Schimmelpfenning’s remains, but they have not said where."

Her remains were found in a nearby lake. I was sent there by investigators in Nancy's case to sonar search the lake looking for Nancy and the Honda Pilot she went missing with. The lake is cleared. There are several other lakes nearby that I will be sonar mapping later this week.

I was requested to search Lake Higgin's last week for any sign of Nancy and the Black Honda Pilot. Last Friday I Sonar Scanned and mapped it. There was no indication that the Honda Pilot or Nancy is in this lake. I also sonar mapped the area where Amber's remains were recovered just to be sure none remained.

The search for Nancy is still ongoing. Numerous Reservoirs, lakes, quarries, and ponds have been searched since my October post. Investigators have had me clear many bodies of water for them and do some drone searches. From November to March, I spend much of my time in Florida. Too cold to search much in NC during the winter. I am planning to return to NC by April to continue search efforts for Nancy at that time.
