Cross tattoo under his left eye. Hope he didn’t encounter trouble with a gang in Gastonia. Gastonia is in Gaston County which borders Mecklenburg County-with the larger known city of Charlotte.

I would think he would take Interstate 85 to Atlanta, which passes through Charlotte and Gastonia (but nowhere near Asheville).
Wrecks are frequent on 85 near the Gastonia interchanges - due to lower speed limits and road construction.

The police report from the accident might provide some clues?

The car was find with his belongings.

The family has the car now it was totaled and left in the woods

I am praying that he is found,
after looking at all the information on the internet. Why was he even in the woods? how did the crash happen? was someone following him? it was not gang related because they would of taken all his belongings out the car. All his belongings were found in the car, Was it cop related? Did they think he was part of the blood nation of 704, his car was totaled in the accident in the woods. Did the cops search the surrounding area? what if he got thrown from the car and projected out and was just laying there, what if was knocked into a coma. He is not just going to walk away from a totaled car, he has been missing since September 26th 2019... If i had the money i would search the area the car was found. Its sad to say but something doesn't feel right and doesn't make any sense but don't this?

@Tbarton12 seems to have insider knowledge (hasn't been on since dec) but also posted to FB about him being missing. I've asked if there's any update, as the search has been "redirected" to ATL Georgia, so here's to hoping he made it home. Very worried about this young man and what kind of trauma he sustained during the crash

eta she replied, stating he has not been found and that detectives have not been very helpful. ugh, so sad.

His wrecked car was found near Gastonia. He's not been seen since.

On a sweltering day in September, 27-year-old Nathaniel Sample simply vanished.

The recording artist, known as Big Upgrade, had been on his way from Long Island to Atlanta in a black Mercedes coupe.

...may have been in the Asheville area prior to his wreck in or near Gastonia.
