Craven Co. Sheriff's Office seeking help finding woman missing since Jan. 28

NEW BERN, Craven County — The Craven County Sheriff's Office has issued an alert for a missing woman.

Pamela Anderson Swindell, 53, was last seen on Jan. 28 in downtown New Bern. She is 5-foot-8 and 110 pounds with hazel eyes and blonde hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Craven County Sheriff's Office at (252) 636-6620 or Craven County Communications at (252) 633-2357.

The Craven County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Pamela Anderson Swindell, age 53, she was last seen on January 28, 2018 downtown New Bern, NC.

This is bizarre! The family reported her missing pretty much immediately to the local PD, but the sherriffs office is stating a report was just filed?? Makes no sense!!

(Don't suppose the initials for your friends band is B2B? )

If you search court records she has had dozens of misdomeaner offenses (traffic and such) but none of the type that would put her in harm's way.

Agreed... the time that the family says they reported her missing and the Sheriffs Office says the report was made is very different.

The location where those remains were found is close to the Neuse River, which experienced major flooding after Hurricane Florence. Remains could be from anywhere along the river. :/
