Pamela Mitchell Hoy reportedly left her Burlington, NC home for her parents' home in Greensboro. She never arrived. Her van, a 1982 Dodge Van license number AHOY, was found within a couple of days of her disappearance at a motel parking lot in Greensboro near I-40 and I-85.

Her body was found five months later a few miles from her Burlington home in a wooded area on McPherson Road at the intersection of Mount Hope Church Road in Guilford county.

Her van, a 1982 Dodge with North Carolina license plate AHOY, was found within a couple of days of her disappearance at a motel parking lot in Greensboro near Interstate-40 and Interstate-85. Her body was found five months later a few miles from her Burlington home in a wooded area on McPherson Road at the intersection of Mount Hope Church Road in Guilford County.

Investigators are seeking the public's help for anyone who saw the Dodge van and driver in 1990 in the Alamance or Guilford County area but was never interviewed.
