If the dead Springer and his son both were in jail, then what the heck are these two church going women doing taking up with them? Of course one of the Springers did something to Jamie and the older lady is probably lucky to be alive since the nut had been stalking her and already killed one girlfriend.

and, why do women who appear otherwise sane & functioning normally in their everyday lives, fall in love and even marry prisoners sentenced to life? good girls get mixed up with bad guys & vice versa.

i remember in college psychology about people who have had a strict upbringing are sometimes attracted to the those from the "dark" side. he needs me or i can change him plays into the mix.

there are many unanswered questions in this case... but to me, it certainly looks like the dead guy knew the circumstances of the disappearance of his son's girlfriend.

In the Twilight Zone, the stalker ex-boyfriend would hidden in the trunk with the intention of a surprize attack, but wait! He can't get out of the trunk!
...The woman hears her potential attacker banging on the trunk. He is angry; "Open #$%&*^* trunk NOW woman...let-me-out!"

His angry threats mutate to pathetic pleas and false apologies. He claims he will never bother her again if only she will free him from this embarassing predicament.

"My, my, it's warm out today! You know, Ricky, price of gas so high and the weather is so nice and sunny, I think I'll just walk today. Might just have to leave the car parked all week..."

At least this time, karma seems to have worked. I hope they find that other missing girl though.

I know someone that married a guy looking at 5 years in prison. He got a year and not a month after he was resleased, they divorced. Now she is with someone that is serving time in a rehab. She wants to be in control. Once they get out and get a job and become a little more independent...she doesn't want them anymore.

Alls well that ends well - EXCEPT Jamie Farley has not been found and this guy is probably the only one who knew where she is....... very sad.

I hope they search and test everything this guy ever touched for clues to Ms. Farley.
