A stunningly bad reconstruction; thank goodness for real science.

I think this clay recon actually is very good. Forget the hairstyle and skin tone but overall the proportions of his face, the high cheekbones, the wide nose, the wide set eyes and the massive chin are spot on.

Yet another person who hitchhiking must have ended badly for, though that happened to females more than males. His obituary also mentions how he was friendly and trusted others. I'd guess whoever killed him is perhaps deceased, but who knows. What is more certain is that his murder will likely never be solved. It's great he was finally identified, though.
