55-year-old Russell Roby was last seen yesterday around 3:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Laurel Hill Lane.
Police said Roby left the residence and didn’t return. Family members told police it was normal for him to walk the woods and trails behind the residence.
Roby is 6 feet tall and weighs about 150 pounds with a thin build. He was wearing a lime green t-shirt, khaki shorts, tennis shoes and eyeglasses.
Roby has a speech impediment and normally wears hearing aids. At the time Roby walked away, he wasn’t wearing hearing aids due to an ear infection.
Anyone with information on the disappearance of Russell Rob is asked to call the Gaston County Police Department at 704-866-3320.
