Why is this case suddenly appearing in NamUs, and there is nothing else available online about this man being or going missing?
I wonder if:
- The year 2000 is an error? Or
- He isn't actually missing but a relative who hasn't seen him since 2000 just reported him missing, because they want to get back in touch? Or
- He was reported missing in 2000, was found, isn't actually missing, but the old report was recently located in old files, and someone put it on NamUs for now rather than try to track him down?

I mean, I can't find any records of him online after the 90s, so I think he's genuinely missing.

I can’t believe his disappearance hasn’t been made public until now. So much time wasted.

I truly hope he is okay.

I wish we knew the circumstances of his disappearance.

Maybe check in with LE there to see if they have any information they can release, encouraging them to post about the case on their LE social media page? Or check in with the library to see if they have any mentions of it on archived newspapers? I don't know what would be worth trying; maybe someone has some other ideas.
