It's their way of saying they don't believe the prosecution proved their case.
I hope they are wrong.
Honestly... I've noticed something with Shaniya's case... people don't want to talk about it.
They are okay with talking about an adult model being murdered and dismembered...
But a little 5 year old being raped and murdered... don't even GO there.
I honestly think that has more to do with the lack of media coverage, really I do.
And I'm one that fights for media coverage for the ones that don't get any, so I'm not deluded. :seeya:
Juliette vs Caylee and Alexis Patterson vs Elizabeth Smart for example.
In this case, I think it's just "too much" and people can't handle hearing about it.
Look at Jonathan Foster's case. People don't want to talk about a little boy being torched either.
So it didn't get covered. Once he was found and people realized what actually happened to him.
The cases of "babies" 6 and younger... who have been raped and murdered, often get less attention.
Unless there is some other major story to go along with it. Wrongful arrest, (Riley Fox) or something.
There is also A LOT going on in the news right now. This happened at a bad time.
There are several trials going on right now we aren't hearing about. :banghead:

Aspiring (white) model murder case = national coverage. Rape, murder of 5 y/o (black) Shaniya Davis = none.
