OMG. I think it was mentioned before but I just skimmed over it... I do think the feces on the blanket must have been from an enema prior to MAM taking her to meet the client. :furious:

One of the searchers who found Shaniya says "they got a tip from someone in the parking lot, said they heard on news or something that a guy admitted to killing the child and dumping her near deer carcasses and trash"

It sounds to me like the man in the video is saying "that *the* guy admitted" rather than "that *a* guy admitted".

How many children does dad have? Why doesn't the daughter on NG live with him? Who and where is the mom? She said her brother called her at school to tell her about Shaniya missing. Does the brother have the same dad?

Who was Shaniyas' legal guardian? School had the aunt listed.

I had not heard that before. But let us remember all of this happened on Tuesday morning. He was not arrested until Friday. Werem't we told that his Family talked him in to turning himself in? I think he told someone the details, and Family or not, they are doing the right thing, and telling what they know.

I think the initial thought was that the family would be able to ID her. Personally, I think that was the spokeswoman talking out her butt (which she should have done literally, less inapppropriate than all the smiling and laughing).
Later, at the second presser, they said they would be waiting for an official ID, and the family ID was not mentioned again.
If she was there for a week, there is no way they could visually ID her, I would think. Her clothes, maybe, but her father doesn't even know what they would have looked like, since supposedly Shaniya wasn't wearing her clothes at the time.

Yes, I believe their hands were tied (legally). There were no formal custody arrangements. The parents were never married, so once dad turned Shaniya over to the scum bucket there wasn't a damn thing he or the aunt could do. Not at that moment anyway. He could have hired a lawyer and maybe gotten her back, but that would've taken a lot of time. Too much time.

That poor man was not counting on something like this happening... he trusted the "mother".


Slightly O/T, but last night on NG I found it odd how Shaniya's older half sister was smiling throughout the interview?

Yes I have been reading more as hard as it is to read it is even harder to tear myself away.

As far as the 1/2 sister smiling, it was definitely strange,
but some people laugh when they are very nervous.
I do NOT get it either, but I have seen it happen.

C's mom was killed about ten years ago during a robbery. There's a link to the article somewhere, but I think both C's mom and her sister were killed.

RUMOR? IIRC his children's mom died 11 years ago (with another family member) on a thread back near the start talking about dad.
Seems like allot of sadness happened in this family???

That is exactly what I think, The feces is a sign of a mortified child, and monster mom telling the aunt she will never see her was also all telling. she knew Shnaiya would tell about her 3 weeks at Mom's house of horrors.. I think that last night the kid got really sick, that is why they got a mule to take the kid to a hotel, but no perp met them there, perps do not go to hotels, The baby may have been having some breathing troubles that scared them and they must have planned a way to get rid of the evidence in he trailer. the mule must have been told step by step what to do.

What I do not understand is; the baby was not gone long enough to be so decomposed that they were not able to ID her immediately. Maybe one of the Legal or Medical eagles can explain that part to me. Thank you in advance.

IMO It's been warm and very wet, she's been dead for almost a week. She would not look like that sweet little girl we've seen in the pictures.

Also, bugging me, is why Sheniya's last name is Davis:waitasec:, especially if she only had limited contact with the mother?
The other children have the last name Lockhart. It is painfully obvious from all the pictures of this beautiful child, how well taken care of she was, how she exhibited the privileges of being well-groomed and loved by her father and his family, which is such a startling contrast to the element in which her mother lived. The difference in these two worlds, had to produce resentment, from this mother, who was working two jobs, and living with her sister in a trailer. This envy would also would explain a huge disconnect from the mother to Sheniya, and why I feel she should never have been left in that enviroment without supervised visits.
