I thought the son looked like a deer caught in the headlights. After Brad came out it seemed to me that his son wanted to wrap up the interview quickly, because he went to say "We all want to thank everyone for their support" kind of speech. I did not feel one way or another about Brad till this interview.
The arms around the son looked more like a chokehold to me. I don't know why, just something creepy here. Let's hope it's just much ado about nothing.

At our property, we have two monitors showing the views from 32 cameras. The way the thumbnail pictures are set up, you can follow any action in real time in order. So things would appear in progression. We can follow someone from the parking lot through the door to the elevator to a room without any lapse in footage.

In the very early hours, our night auditor pretty much just stares at the monitors. After the paperwork is done, there isn't much else to do and pretty much any activity at that hour is still sporadic enough that it raises your interest. Before the breakfast host, MOD, housekeepers, front desk gets there, night audit is the only real line of defense for most hotels.

Audit shift is typically 11-7a, so it could either be audit or someone working the front desk that recognized her. My bet would be that someone on audit noticed her and stuck around a bit. Shift changes are busy times and I doubt many people would be paying attention between 6:55 and 7:15. It's when you run your reports, change signage, count the drawers, open the pool, etc, etc. This is pretty standard in most properties at which I've worked.

Maybe I'm being overanalytical, but I can tell your our auditor would totally have noticed this activity and he'd be the first one thinking it was hinky. Auditors are a special breed. Night owls with a lot of time on their hands and they're generally hypervigilant to odd activity not just for hotel security, but for their own. I'm sure the monitors and DVRs for the cameras are in the front office, as they are in most hotel properties. This wasn't something they likely had to research in some computer room. It was probably a case of the employee watching it happen and running it back when they looked at Shaniya's picture again. It operates just like a cable DVR for the most part, if the system is at all modern. In a newish hotel, it likely would be.

IIRC, I believe I read somewhere that it took awhile for LE to be able to watch the tapes because they first had to "solve" some codes to get into them. I think the clerk saw the amber alert the day after MAM and Shaniya were there, recognized that they had seen them before, and at that point, alerted LE.

I think today we learned it was the camera that shows MAM's taking her and I bet it was the GPS in his car that told where he buried her.

That would sure clear up the comment the spokesperson made about searching that area. Something like 'IT wasn't a tip, it was information we received'.

This keeps coming up as more members join in the discussions. The three people in the video are: on the left of screen Carey Lockhart-Davis, Bradley Davis, and Carey Lockhart-Davis's daughter.

http://www.wral.com/news/local/video/6409385/

This is not BL's fiance. I did read that this young lady with the long hair is Aunt Carey's daughter - but then I went totally link stupid and lost the link. I will on this night spend good time refinding that link to take this out of rumour mode.

Okay, so here's my theory, based on what I know (feel free to poke holes!):

ALL OF THIS IS MY OPINION:

AD is a prostitute
BL is a customer of AD's
I base this theory on the fact that BL's father-in-law mentioned that BL goes there for sex. I also think it would be easier for AD to put her own daughter in prostitution if she herself did it as well.

AD is a drug addict.

On the night before Shaniya was reported missing, AD needed a fix and MAM provided. Payment was Shaniya.

I really don't think AD "sold" Shaniya. I think AD rented her out and she wasn't brought back as expected.

The 911 phone call was real in a sense that perhaps MAM did not bring Shaniya back.

When MAM heard AD called the police, he then killed her and dumped her in a panic.

Juristiction is whatever county Sanford is in, IMO.

Thanks a lot for clarifying that!

I am not fully awake.. lol, but it should be Bradley Lockhart (not Davis). Also Carey and daughter both share the same first names?

We know the home had a sewer problem. Where were they using the bathroom???

The back porch???????????? jmo

I think they continued to use the one inside, hence the "backup" and mess that led authorities to say it was not fit for habitation.

He checked in at 6:11 a.m., 911 call at 6:53 a.m., according to LE, MAM left hotel approx. 7:30 a.m.

So 911 call was made before he left the hotel.

Salem

I'm torn between AD knowing the "master" plan of the hotel and not.

1-- AD knew of sale: Shaniya was being sold to someone at the hotel. MAM said we're meeting around 6:00am - give me an hour or so. But, sell didn't take place, MAM/buyer argued, so timeline was extended.

OR

2-- AD knew of sale: But she and MAM had a plan of collecting the money and also of getting Shaniya back by reporting her missing, thinking LE would find her. (long shot here)

OR

3-- AD knew of sale: And changed her mind. Couldn't tell LE about MAM b/c she had been prostituting Shaniya all along.

OR

4-- AD knew of appt for prostitution: These nightly encounters had been taking place for awhile, but MAM always had her back before daylight. When she's not back, AD panics and calls 911, fearing something had happened.

OR

5-- AD was stoned out of her mind and MAM did whatever he wanted.

I find BL's behavior of giving the hug during the interview with his son disturbing because he says something to him. You can tell he does by the way his son 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 his head and almost looks at BL. The other disturbing statement was what BL said when asked by a reporter about what Cheyenne had been saying. He said something to the effect..."She's not supposed to be discussing that." BL also doesn't come across as the hugging sort. ( I could be wrong but I'm pretty good at reading people.)

Now the 5 children and the 3 different women... That just speaks volumes, I'm sorry but none of the kids save Shaniya lived with him??? One of BL supposed friends has Cheyenne living with him? I don't care if he is a grieving father I believe he didn't know about what sort of circumstances he was sending Shaniya into because:
1. He didn't care enough to make sure the creature was actually telling the truth about turning her life around.
2. He didn't care enough to make sure there was even a working toilet in the house that wasn't spewing sewage.
3. He comes across as self-involved and not really noticing too much else.

I could go on because any normal parent with any form of shared custody isn't going to send their child into a dive to live. Most people care more than that. I am sure he is guilt ridden because he didn't even check out the living circumstances that he was sending that poor little angel into and yet he drops her off just like the rest of his kids.

I am sorry for ranting but for crying out loud I personally don't have alot of pity for a man whose own sister offered to take care of Shaniya but no he sends the child to the birth creature.:furious:

Like I said sorry for ranting but not having a lot of sympathy for that man.

RIP Our new little angel...Shaniya.

I like the theory but why did she implicate her boyfriend?

I'm thinking LE has this info. I think Coe was there that night. I think AD let MAM have Shaniya while her and Coe were getting high or whatever they were doing. Then she and Coe pass out and Shaniya is in the living room with MAM. When Shaniya has her accident (for lack of a better word) - MAM freaks out and starts trying to clean up. AD hears the noise and gets up and tells MAM to get Shaniya out of there before Coe wakes up and sees what the heck is going on. MAM takes off. AD wakes Coe and says Saniya is gone. Coe tells AD to call 911. Then they go out to look for Shaniya. AD points the finger at Coe so MAM can get away with Shaniya. And the story goes on. But I"m thinking AD last saw Shaniya at 5:30 PM before she passed out, took off, did whatever she did.

Pure speculation on my part.

Salem

I think you are giving Coe too much credit.
I think birds of a feather, I do not think he was oblivious.

From article above, this should help in clarifying exactly what this charge entails. MAM will be adding this to his list of charges soon I would imagine, along with murder.

"The state's human trafficking law says anyone who "knowingly recruits, entices, harbors, transports, provides, or obtains by any means another person with the intent that the other person be held in involuntary servitude or sexual servitude" can be charged with that offense."

Fully believable. But what else?
Work with me here. Even addicts like to flush the toilet. All those people could have cleared out for one day to get the toilet fixed, and that would have gotten the landlord off BD's back, too. But it was never done.
The reason I wonder so hard is that I think this speaks to what may have been done to Shaniya. Was there something that they couldn't hide, like locks on the outside of a bedroom or bathroom door? Were there holes in the walls from a certain person getting violent when they got mad? Was this an active choice to live every day like this or did they have something really big to hide?

BTW: That's my new horrible thought. What if they kept her locked in the bathroom, instead of a bedroom?
Ugghhh....sweet jesus, perish the thought.....

I wish I knew for sure who was on her birth certificate because I would hope that person would have to be the one that enrolled her and had to present the birth certificate and show some ID even if someone else was given the guardian status.

I read a couple of days ago only monster mom was on the BC.

I posted these links yesterday, but I thought it would be a good idea to repost this information with regards to items taken from MAM's car.

http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/6444454/

"In an affidavit for a warrant to search McNeill's 1997 Mitsubishi Galant, investigators said McNeill told them he picked Shaniya up in front of her home and drove her to the hotel. Investigators also said they found feces smeared on the outside door handle of the front door to the home and on the handrail of the steps to the front porch."

"Police recovered 11 pieces of trace evidence, such as hair and fibers, from the car, as well as clothes, a belt, a straw, a cell phone and a portable GPS system, according to the search warrant."

http://news.mync.com/site/news/stor...thorities-search-for-missing-5-year-old-girl/

"Police search warrants of McNeill's car, a 1997 Mitsubishi Galant, indicate that police found a black and yellow girl's jacket and a child's pair of jeans. Police also took a plastic straw, swabbings and soil samples."
