Hi Dr.

I had enlarged and cleaned up the picture of the elevator as best I could in my digital image software and posted it here although I'm not sure which page...lemme go see if I can find it.

From my eyes, I saw the two buttons on the panel in front of the elevator and it was the bottom button that was lit.
On the side jamb of the elevator doors the number, at least to me, looked like a 3.
~~~~~~~~
Here it is, I hope.
Found Deceased NC-Shaniya Davis, 5, Allegedly sold by mother 11/10/09 #13 - Page 4 - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community
The reflection in the door looks like a 3 also.
OMG, is it me or does it look like Shaniya's right eye is swollen?
Does anyone have the link where the daughter C says her father kicked her out last year?
I want that to post along with the media statement that court docs show that the grandparents have custody of all children between the now dead wife and Bradley...
How could Bradley have kicked her out last year if he hasn't had custody since 2007? Wouldn't that be sending her home, not kicking her out?
BBM
I have wondered the same thing! If she was in the legal custody of her grandparents and at some decided she wanted to move in with her dad, if he did kick her out, why did she not go back to her GP's, unless she had issues there as well? It is possible she was unhappy with the rules the GP's laid out, so she went home to daddy. With the extensive traveling he does for work, at her age, he would have told her that she was too young to stay there by herself and that she needed to go back to GP's or find a friend to stay with. I am trying not to make rash judgements on anyone involved, except for MAM & AD that is, but I haven't given much credence to her statements at this time. This is all MOO.
I would be happy to post the video where C was on Nancy's show if someone can recall the date for me.
IIRC, she was on Monday, 11-16, brother Byron was on Tuesday, 11-17, I missed last night.
The change in dialect could be nothing more than a mild case of being a cocktail personality. Not all people with this disorder are dangerous, but it can make them look suspicious because they take on the demeanor, speech patterns, attitudes and mannerisms of those around them. Most of the time, it's unintentional and not fully controllable.
I do find the change in speech odd, but it sometimes happens when two ethnic groups collide.
I don't know how to say this without offending someone, but there were two very distinct accents between a couple of the interviews. I think the difference could be construed as him having different emotional control during different interviews.
I don't think this is offensive as I've lived in the south my whole life. One accent was lightly southern. The other accent seemed to be in line with some areas of a southern minority population. See? It almost sounds more offensive to hedge around it. Surely it's not some big biased, secret thing that white and black people often speak with different accents in some areas. I lived in that area. I had many black friends. I don't sound like my black friends. They don't sound like me. Why would that be wrong to say? They'd be first to say they're glad they don't sound like me, LOL!
I find that sometimes my "accent" changes when I'm around different people. I'll soften my 'a's if I'm around a person from GB. I draw out my 'o's a bit if I talk to someone from Canada while. Someone who spends a lot of time around people of different backgrounds might end up sounding more like them.
'Cocktail personality' lol. Makes it sound so... benign, and I'm sure there are egs where this is the case. IMO the dialect thing is a non-issue except it does tend to make me wary and mistrust someone who is able to move, chameleon-like, from one "personality" to another. (It's actually a trait of personality disorders but that's more than I care to tackle and another whole thread lol!) There certainly hasn't been any racist overtone on my part, both my husbands have been AA and all four of my children biracial.
IIRC, it was stated 4 floors. But this was someone that called the hotel and asked. Can't verify it one way or another.
Yes Patty hotel staff informed me when I called "FOUR STORY HOTEL" (once again lol) perhaps I should make this my new siggy line and save myself the trouble lol :crazy:
The kidnapping is a federal offense so I assume that will be tried by the feds, I don't think there is any federal offense of murder. Not sure how this will all be played out.
Something I was trying to figure out last night that is bothering me.
MAM took her to the hotel for a very short amount of time.
I did a search for available hotels and 45 came up. Now that is quite a few to choose from. There were others cheaper. Also, others that would give more privacy with just an outside entrance to a room instead of having to walk through a lobby with a little girl in your arms. Why did he choose this hotel?
Did he have a connection with this hotel already? Was he able to get access to a room for free?
If all he wanted to do was clean her up, he could have stopped somewhere and used a restroom.
Also, when his family told him the police were looking for him, where was he? Did they call him on a cell phone or did they actually see him?
Could it be possible that Shaniya was still alive then but when he found out he was being looked for he killed her then?
VB
Why get back on subject now? :crazy:
The original theory was MAM went to hotel to meet with someone with Shaniya for some bad purpose. At one time, there was talk about an older, 60 year old man, with a blue Toyota (BOLO issued?). There was thought that this mystery man could have killed Shaniya - but the LE believes that Shaniya was alive when MAM carried her out of the hotel (I do not have a good feeling about Shaniya walking into the hotel and carried out). So, it may seem like MAM may have killed her.
It is almost certain that MAM "dumped" her body as they got information from him / car GPS as to where the location of body was. Further, I believe they got information from MAM directly that Shaniya was dead - as they called off the official search once they found out she was dead and her location.
We know so little, but discussing bad parenting seems to be fun.....
It use to be we protected our children from bad "guys" who were strangers, now it seems we need to protect children from their parents.
Here's a new twist. BL has 5 children by 3 different women. We know Shaniya is AD's. There are three that are his late wife's. Maybe C is the daughter of another woman? I have no idea just thought I would throw it out there as something new to rip apart.:crazy:
To me it looks like a 2. Funny how we're all seeing something different - 3, 2, L, G, etc.
I only called it cocktail personality, because that's the diagnostic term. I have it, but not the bad way. Mine is a result of trauma, and I don't use it the way some people do (to fit and feel special and dupe those around them with lies) I try to control mine, but the father looks like he has an uncontrolled case.
Shaniya has the same last name as AD. We don't know if BL is listed on her birth certificate as the father do we? Since their custody of Shaniya was something they worked out between themselves there are no legal custody papers that we know of. We don't know if DSS has Shaniya listed as a child of AD's do we? Or if DSS has BL listed as a parent of Shaniya! DSS's investigation was about AD and her 7 year old son-Shaniya was apparently not involved. Would DSS know to contact BL?:waitasec:
I know. I guess BL thinks DSS has a crystal ball or psychic on staff or something.
Since the murders, Cheyenne and her brothers stayed mostly with their grandparents, Byron and Phyllis Coleman, in the Remington subdivision behind Seventy-First High School.
There, it's been ripped.
Hi folks,
I just drove the short 4 min. drive over to the Comfort Suites on my lunch. Give me a few minutes while I pull the photos from my phone. Those photos were NOT taken in the lobby.
And I actually still have not stopped shaking knowing I was in the same elevator poor baby Shaniya was in as it was the only elevator in the hotel.
Thanks!!
So now I'm wondering who Ty is? Where is she? If she was the one taking care of Shaniya so well wy haven't we heard from her on the media?
Also where are the Dad's Parents? My mom would be right there(although falling apart) to support me in everything.
There was an article which quoted BL's murdered wife's mom (PC), she did state that C was BL's daughter and that Shaniya was her half-sister. I remember reading it, just can't tell you where right now, we have all read so many articles.
