I'm continuing my search on the internet today for information on child sex trafficking in the U.S. I can tell you, it is very difficult. Most information is about it happening in other countries. No wonder I thought it was an overseas problem.

The other thing that pops up more frequently is about teenage children sold into prostitution. But what I am looking for specifically is more information about little children, like Shaniya, being sold for sexual purposes.

I feel so stupid. All these missing children in the U.S. and I thought they were killed by some random pervert and their bodies thrown in some obscure woods. Now I am wondering how many of these children have actually been sold, just like Shaniya was.

I am going to learn all I can about it in the U.S. I know about children being sold in other countries for sex. I am ashamed I have not researched it in the U.S. before.

Here is a store about a federal prosecutor from Florida who tried to buy sex with a 5 year old girl. The details have made me even more sick to my stomach.

He committed suicide in jail after he was arrested.

A thought came to mind about this "witness". Since Coe was seeing Antoinette, and visiting or living with Antoinette and Shaniya, and IF Coe owns a vehicle, chances are that Shaniya may have been in the car with Coe at one point. Maybe to go shopping or going out to eat ... things of that sort within the 3 weeks Shaniya was living with her mother.

I think the discussion last night that you mentioned, alsmom, was sparked by the examiner article linked below. A reference that Coe was connected to the disappearance, and a LE statement that a witness saw him drive away with her, sound very different to me.

Not giving you a hard time, alsmom. Just trying to get it all straight in my own head.

Antoinette claimed a couple of days ago that Clarence Coe had connections to her daughter's disappearance. Clarence Coe was arrested one day, released the next. Coe was innocent. Locals were very surprised at Coe's arrest since Clarence Coe, to them, seemed more interested in the missing 5-year-old than Antoinette. Also, the neighbors noted that the mother was seen with Clarence Coe at her trailer.

What gets me crazy is that the father gave this innocent child to such a depraved person. Didn't he check out her living conditions or look into anything? Aside from that, it's interesting how McNeill now has money for a lawyer. I am sure he didn't earn from a normal day job. Time is of the essence here and it seems like McNeill, the mother and even Coe is holding or held back info to let the perps get far away. I believe that Coe knew who took the child. He may have been too po'd at LE to give info. And if that hotel video did not surface, heaven knows where the investigation might be. JMO How sick.

I'm not trying to be ugly, really I'm not...but IMO we should lay off the dad right now. While he made have shown poor judgement, as we know the facts now, that's all.

I'd rather we focus on the AD, MAM, those who we KNOW broke the law.
Also, IMO BD.

I think the dad has enough to worry about now. I'm sure he doesn't need us second quessing his actions. IMO

Some things I would like to know:

- what does McNeill say about who he handed off Shaniya to? What is that next person's role in the deal? Was it a pimp? Another go-between/middle man and Shaniya was being passed/sold further? Was it an individual pedophile?

- are there any other children on the radar of McNeill, his gf Autry, the mother, or the mother's sister who are not accounted for?

- have these people lived in other states? have any of them travelled regularly to other specific cities or states?

- who does McNeill hang around with? where does he spend his time?

- what exactly has the mother been doing the past 3 to 6 months? how has she spent her time? where has she been hanging out?


So many questions. I wish we had just a few more nuggets of information.

Is there any reward at all being offered for Shaniya's return? I haven't seen any.

That's quite possible, Patty. Are you thinking that the witness was recalling a different time that he saw her in his car? But it was 5:30 A.M., a rather unusual time for them to be going anywhere. Seems like that would make a difference.
