OK I'm hoping against hope here I know....but could it be that the ground search is for some kind of evidence MAM possibly dumped on his WAY to the motel that morning, and NOT for little Shaniya's body after all? And that it was still a hand-off thing...?

Am with you on this one - I think they are looking for some evidence. I still think Shaniya was passed off at the hotel and MAM was just the delivery boy.

How did I miss that? Thanks Poppy! Do we know how McNeil was connected to Shaniya's Mother? How did they hook up, and where did he gets his hands on Shaniya?
It has been reported that McNeill is an ex-boyfriend of Shaniya's aunt (mom's sister). I'm sorry I don't have the link handy but it's been in previous threads. :) MOO

Yeah, Unfortunately Mydailyopinions I have to agree with you. IMO a forensic truck would be called when there is a need for it's service. To me that says something has been discovered in the area that warrants being saved for analysis to further the investigation of the case.

Do we know if the dogs arrived before the Forensic truck. If the dogs gave strong alerts I would think LE would rope off the area immediately and call for lab techs to be brought to the scene.
I am wondering if they've found her, and Media isn't aware because of the roads being taped off.

Reannan, I dont think it was a fact that Coe was seen leaving with Shaniya. Nothing makes sense. There were 4 video cameras in the mobile home park, one of them at the entrance to the property. You would think that would tell you exactly what type of vehicles left at what time...hmmm......
One of the cameras saw a man walking away from the neighbors trashcan back in the direction of the mobile home Shaniya stayed in.
This is the strangest set of circumstances. the answers are in here somewhere, I cant figure out where. It is probably much more simple than we are thinking, we arent dealing with Einsteins here...

My bold...
I'll take a stab at this. The charges obviously aren't in the "no bail" category. Maybe this is standard and the judge does not believe either person can post the required amount to get out on bail. Just MOO.
Amazing, isn't it?

Selling little children into sexual slavery ought to be in the "No Oxygen" category.

The idea of AD working in a nursing home around frail, elderly vulnerable people is more than disturbing.

Does AD have an attorney? Or could she be talking?

We might have to wait for Monday for her to see the Judge to find out. I haven't read anything that AD has been in front of the judge to address her charges, attorney, possible time in prison etc. Perhaps we will see her around 2 or 2:30 PM on Monday.

In most of the reports that mention that they checked in the hotel at 6:11 and THEY checked out an hour later. Leads one to assume she was with him.

With video cameras in the hotel and the mobile home park, LE has to know a lot more than they are saying about this case. I still think is McNeil had Shaniya with the intent of assaulting her on his own, he would not have gone to a public motel. I think he handed her off to someone. What does McNeil do for a living (besides trade in drugs and children)? Do we know?

I have to go. I leave this to you very, very capable sleuths and pray that when I come back, Shaniya will have been found, preferably alive.

Oh please, let this child come home!

Thanks--but I'm trying to recall does it specifically say "checked out," or simply "left."

Could someone explain the charges against the mother... Does that mean she willingful GAVE her daughter to someone for the purpose of SEX? OMG - To even THINK that actually makes my stomach sick. If that is the charge, I can't even imagine that beautiful, young girls emotional state... How could anyone do something like this? Especially the mother?

Oh I hope this is just some way to make the mother talk and find out where this girl is! This case is just aweful...And everytime I log in, I cringe as to what new news I'll find, because the outcome is not looking good.

(Now you'll have to excuse me, today is my 10 year old daughter's birthday - I'm going upstairs to give her a special hug and tell her how much I love her!):blowkiss:
