Okay, I can't seem to find a contractor's license for BL in NC, OR or Utah. Has anyone else found one, anywhere? Does anyone know what the limitations are with an unlicensed contractor?
Shall we take bets that tomorrow on Oprah someone claims that poor SD's favorite song was "You Are My Sunshine"? I can't believe he's gonna be on Oprah already. Maybe he will adopt a Chicago accent to fit the occasion.

Absolutely...if it was all just a simple matter of MAM buying Shaniya from AD for his own ...um, use...and nobody else involved, he'd never have gone to a hotel for pete's sake. Probably not even a seedy rent-by-the-hour type one but SURELY not a nicer and comparatively expensive place like that one. He'd have took her back in the woods and had his jollies and then likely killed and left her there when he was done. The whole hotel thing just doesn't make a bit of sense w/o the involvement of at least one other party.

I think McNeill is the only one involved MOO. I kept thinking about what could he do at a hotel he couldn't do elsewhere. That would be bathe her. He's been in prison enough to know about DNA and other trace evidence.

He also looks to me in the pics to be all zipped up tight in that jacket he's wearing. It wasn't all that cold. Makes me think he's trying to avoid getting Shaniya's hair, fibers, etc on himself. I'd love to know where that jacket is.

My theory is he had a drug deal at the hotel. Bringing a child was a good cover. He molested/killed her after they left the hotel.

They may also have used her little body as a transport vehicle to get the drugs in/out.

Let's say Shaniya wasn't given up for money, but drugs. It seems to be a prevalent theory.

Maybe MAM brought Shaniya to his supplier. Maybe AD wasn't paying up and he was getting pressure from someone to whom HE owed money. It'd certainly make the human trafficking charge make more sense. Perhaps MAM was all "Okay, I'll let you off the hook with your debt (to AD) but you have to give me something. This guy will kill me."

Turns out this guy is a creepy ped or a distributor or whatever, and Shaniya was AD's only asset.

i'm wondering if MAM just told the cops he dropped her off for someone else, not realizing that they have video of him leaving the hotel with her alive...?? i really think that he thought that they were just going to believe that he had minimal involvement. i wish we knew more about timelines etc. in regard to the hotel...

Hello everyone!

I'm excited about the press conference at 8. Justice will be served for the murder of our little angel.

Thank you to the poster that posted the pictures from the hotel. Now I am most positive that my worst fear was correct. I witnessed something I could never fathom. Shame on LE for releasing those pictures. That picture alone is the reason I started a site dedicated to God's precious little angels because I do not want to remember poor little Shaniya or any other missing child that way. I want to reflect on nothing but the positive. Each post on my site will have nothing but positive reflections.

I saw something last night and decided to sleep on it before I posed the question. It's OT but I'm so curious....

Do my eyes deceive me or is that a wedding band? Is this why our angel could not live with him anymore? Please somebody tell me this is an old picture that he just decided to have posted on his FB. PLEASE!!! I would love to think something positive about this man but right now I can't...God forgive me but I just can't...

Amen to that. MAM could very possible be a murderer but not a pedo IMO.
He does despicable stuff for payments from another party.

Maybe the goal wasn't to sell her for sex. Maybe someone wanted to avoid another custody and child support battle. And if the ex got busted for her disappearance, that could just be an added bonus. I think that's what AD meant when she told CLD she wouldn't see her again. I think something SD told her mom made her mom not want to send her back. Shaniya alive and living with momster would be worth a whole lot in child support every month, year after year if BL's income is as good as his home and vehicle indicate. JMO
I'm not sure I buy the story about being sold into sex/ drug trafficking. I think MAM told them that to get out of kidnapping charges. Surely if she were to be handed off to someone for nefarious purposes, she would have had clothes and shoes on. Of course MAM would say she gave her to him-that would absolve him of the worst charges (kidnapping) that he had at the time.
I think MAM was waiting to grab SD. I wonder if she had the flu or something, had an accident, and she herself threw out the blanket so as not to let her mom see it. If she were traded off, why would he have picked her up outside, barely clothed?

He could be any type of a contractor. Could be IS and temporary farmed out across the country by his primary employer. Similar to a Manpower agency.

that's why I said I wish I knew who had custody

if they were planning a longer trip to deliver drugs or if AD was promising something of the like but not really serious about it and stalling him and MAM decided he wasn't waiting any longer

maybe she took Shaniya out of school in preparation for it (although I doubt that part - I think she was just an irresponsible parent)

agreed.

i know that you mean that you dont believe he was meeting someone at the hotel... BUT... until i find a link that shows me proof that the mother SOLD her... MAM is the only person i believe is guilty.

i believe the mother is guilty of a lot of things.. like: not providing a safe home or environment for her kids, and for not getting help for her drug addiction, having her kids around people that they shouldn't be around..
but something is nagging me about this whole thing... i don't think she knew what was going to happen... and i don't believe she sold her either.

ETA: i also think the mom is covering for someone... i think she owed someone money and they took her daughter... or perhaps she ripped someone off and they did that to retaliate. and she's covering for whomever because she's either afraid they'll hurt her, or her family.. or afraid that something might come back to bite her.
